Conclusion : You won't get cancer from not fapping. You will rather combat cancer radically by embettering your lifestyle from all perspectives (usually fixing diet also).

Masturbation is not healthy. It's wasting your body's best resources with the task of creating new life. Your best DNA cells and your best blood and lots of vital nutrients are wasted in one ejaculation, to impregnate a woman to give birth to a child. But as you do this mindlessly without actually creating life, you deplete yourself of your precious sexual energy, tons of vital nutrients and your best blood cells, and possibly other good stuff. Masturbation is not healthy. Period.

  3. Yeah that's what I meant, it's the doctors and modern day feminism and "embracing sexuality" movement that is destroying men. The best nutrients go into making our sperm, why waste it. Conserve it and let it rejuvenate you.

  4. It's masturbate healthy? I wanna know, I read article about masturbate is healthy for you but it's seem good to be true.

  5. Porn industry sure wants us the believe so, does anyone else here realize how much money nofap could cost the porn industry, it already have cost em money of course they will want us to keep on fapping, would not doubt that they even make up fake sites and research just to throw people off.

Think what would happen most people on this planet stopped watching porn, not going to happen but think about it, the industry would die out.

  6. I kinda wished.

Nofap is the minority of people who have issues with porn addiction, meaning most of the world if perfectly fine being part of the cycle. And you honestly cant blame them, men are designed to masturbate and not rely on nocturnal emissions.

The porn industry is prospering right now and any revenue coming from this site is incredibly negligible. All the porn industry is doing is providing a product that us the consumer buy. They don't need to fake sites and research to make us fap because people like me that actually study this stuff very thoroughly, and i can confidently say no sites bought me to make them fake research papers. The world doesnt need to stop porn, the people that have issues controlling themselves and take it to a new level need to learn to control it. In fact i think that is what this site is actually about.

Then let me ask you this. What is an average male's libido on a scale of one to 10 and do you really think you are expending that many nutrients. Your body makes this constantly and in fact when you "mindlessly" masturbate are taking a great strain on your prostate, your mind and just generally your lifestyle. If you would like to prove to me otherwise that its not healthy to masturbate period then please cite at least one CREDIBLE source that backs this claim up.

I would like to think that people on here know a little something about this so show me you do.

  10. I just want to really put an end to questions like these because they pop up time and time again on nofap.

I have been on nofap hardmode for about 120+ days and I've had a PMO addiction for close to 8 years.

    Is masturbation healthy?
Masturbation is neither healthy nor harmful (in moderation). There are others things you can do to be healthy, like idk get some fucking exercise.

    Should I stop masturbating?
    Yes, focus your energy elsewhere.

I don't know if I'm ready to quit masturbation?
Then nofap is not for you. Many of us have came here out of desperation in search of answers. I've found the answers to my problems. The reason why I was so unhappy was because I chose to escape from reality through masturbation and pornography. I'd rather stay home then spend my nights out on town trying to pick up women, hoping she would show up to my doorstep. It may happen in porn, but not here.

To OP: Stop trying to justify masturbating again or continuing it. It causes doubts, and doubts is what is the main issue when it comes down to the difference between a 2 week streak and a 3 month streak.

Are you saying you shouldn't question anything? Im not saying you shouldn't streak and im not even here to promote porn. If you read my earlier messages you would understand im all for this. But for this site to work in long term.. there cant be lies, rumors and uncertainty because this would cause a lot more than a relapse.

I hope nofap stays a healthy community as much as anyone here but that wont happen when false facts and lies are spread. I'm happy for your successes and everybody else's here and i hope things keep going for you guys. but in terms of health is the point where i need to step in. Im a certified urologist and have gone through 7 years of college and training and 2 years as a practicing urologist. I have seen people have these issues and have these problems before my eyes more than any study can tell me. I hope to help people here but the way ignorance is glorified and normal human behavior is demonized is just not right.

I know the types of issues people have here because its what i deal with daily. Just understand this when i say that masturbation is healthy and that you may die down the line if you rely on your body to take care of it for you. After all, nobody gets obese because they are eating healthy in the same way prostate cancer is mostly avoidable.

  12. I'm pretty sure not masturbating isn't going to hurt you health as drastically as you think it would.

I once knew a schizophrenic who rejected the notion of masturbation. He went on year streaks he said because he hated his body (He had a lot of gender dysphoria). He was in his early thirties and had been doing this since he was 29. so for about 3 years of constant streaks and hating himself I knew it wasn't healthy. I was advised to take his PSA in case he had some sort of prostate issue that prevented ejaculation and he wasn't telling us. For reference, a normal male's PSA is 4.0 ng/mL. His was 9.0 ng/mL which in cancer patients indicates late stages of prostate cancer. a biopsy was scheduled and guess what he had... Late state prostate cancer.

You could say this was an isolated incident but I beg to differ.

I just listed the reasons why masturbation is not healthy; loss of vital nutrients like
    • Fructose sugar
    • Cholesterol
    • Magnesium
    • Copper
    • Calcium
    • Water
    • Ascorbic acid (a.k.a., vitamin C)
    • Citric acid
    • Enzymes
    • Protein
    • Phosphate and bicarbonate buffers (bases)
    • Zinc (in large amounts)
In addition to these nutrients, that masturbation causes a lack of and as a result deficiencies occurr. (enspecially zinc deficiency). In addition to this nutrients, it takes your best blood cells and like a whole week or longer to produce the sperm for 1 ejaculation.

Semen retention has lots of positive effects on a male's body at attraction, energy levels and well being, that an ignorant lady like you can only deny. I'd say mind your own business and speak for your gender. Semen is life energy. it contains 200-500 MILLION SPERMS. With every ejaculation you waste/kill a potential life.
Masturbation is NOT healthy, I can't stress this enough. You were misinformed by the media by "that prostate cancer study" that was with high probability sponsored by the porn industry.

You were given sexual organs to reproduce, but most people nowadays exploit their sexual organs for pleasure and are slaves of sex addiction.

I am practicing semen retention, and I can without doubt tell you, it's the most powerful energy there is. Period. It is the drive of man, the reason to do things. It's the main motivation that can be depleted totally by jerking off, or can be invested into businesses, sports or any goal one may want to achieve.

If you are here to give another reason to people to relapse, please get lost.

"What is an average male's libido on a scale of one to 10 and do you really think you are expending that many nutrients." Male libido is irrelevant, it will successfully fade out with time. My libido is zero 58 days in.
" Your body makes this constantly" no, actually your body is great at adapting and stops even producing semen after a longer period of time of abstinence.

when you "mindlessly" masturbate are taking a great strain on your prostate, your mind and just generally your lifestyle. Read the studies and watch the video I've linked you. It EXTREMELY EMBETTERS your lifestyle & mind and has neutral to positive effects on your health. With direct benefits from stopping the depletion of vital nutrients, you save sexual energy also, that is vital. Indirect benefits: fixing lifestyle & diet, being over-all healthy and exercising.

Seeing as those articles are literally just nofap forum posts with no backing. I have never known sperm retention to work as when you say you expend a ton of nutrients, you dont see that they are already expended. Now at this point to argue is futile because you will always say that not masturbating is healthy no matter what. And in addition its very clear you actually dont understand how the whole system works and neither do anyone in the forum posts and the video.

Simple fact is this. I read the posts and watched the video and i can easily say i disagree whole heatedly, but i digress. You have your body and i have mine. Nothing i say will encourage you to understand that not ejaculating (not to be confused with masturbating) is bad. You do as you wish and nothing will change that so im hoping all of what you are saying actually is actually true and none of these people suffer for it.

    Cheers

I feel like I have no dog in this fight anymore. On the one hand, we’ve got the argument that semen retention has much bigger benefits than I believe it actually has. Just because sperm may contain such nutrients doesn’t mean expelling 3.7ml of ejaculate a clip is going to render you deficient in any of them.

And on the other side, someone is trying to convince a group of porn/masturbation addicts about the benefits of moderation. It’s like going into an AA meeting and reminding everyone in there that drinking responsibly doesn’t ruin you.

But I guess that’s the nature of these debates. We seek validation for our points of view without even considering for a second why the other side has their point of view. Sorry for the rant. I’ll continue viewing this thread as a spectator for the entertainment value.
