    Hello everybody!

I'm on day 106 of full semen retention (no sex, porn, masturbation) and I'm experiencing wet dreams once every month, sometimes 2 or 3 times a month. I can feel more and more the nights when I will experience a wet dream, the symptoms are mainly:
    - Restlessness and overthinking
    - Overall heat throughout the body, in the genital area in particular

Sometimes I wake up before reaching orgasm. If I get back to sleep, I will inevitably enter in another sexual dream and have an orgasm.

Some people say that nocturnal emissions are inevitable as the body gets rid of old semen and that you lose less energy than by having a voluntary orgasm.
Some people also say that you can stop wet dreams by all sorts of practices as yoga, meditation by circulating energy through the spine, by avoiding certain food and so on...

What are your thoughts on that? Are wet dreams natural? Are they a sign of healing neuronal pathways and hormonal balance?

I remember having them far before starting masturbation (started MO at 12 years old, when I didn't even had fantasies or filthy images in my head, so I tend to think that it's natural. In another hand, some people claim to be capable of not having wet dreams at all...

This thread is obviously for people practicing complete abstinence because if you practice any form of release, you will be less inclined to have wet dreams.

If you go back to sleep you will have O again because you are still warm of previous release

In yogic science all semen is life, if lost your body loses life, it is possible to stop wet dreams and any emission but there are many requirements to be met such as sattvuic diet, total purity of mind, eradication of past subconscious impressions from previous lives as well, etc

I have been tracking my NE (nocturnal emission). Since last 100 days. Sometimes I got multiple NE in one night. Longest I have gone without it is a month. What I got from the data is that during reboot the brain is in panic and body is in panic. Mind and body wants an outlet. And our nerves are too weak due to excessive PMO. So it takes time to regain the control. I now have somewhat control over them. As time passes , the memories of P fade away and I have regained control over my subconscious mind. Resulting in less and less NE.
You can control it but you can not stop it. Here are the things that I have analyzed which causes NE for me.
    1. Anxiety- I got severe anxiety due to withdrawal.
    2. Heavy meal- Heavy meal before bed contributed to it. I started eating foods that cool down the body like yogurt. My dinner is quite light now.
3.Leg workout- I don't know why but after leg day I usually get NE.
    4.Stress
5.Viewing sexual content- Back in the day I sometimes deliberately watched erotic scene in a movie or just imagined something erotic which stayed in my subconscious resulting in NE. Now its much better. I strictly monitor what i see and use filters in viewing online content. Prevention is better than cure.

There are some other factors too but these were the major ones. It is getting better day by day.

Stop having sexual thoughts of lust and you will not have wet dreams.

Contrary to that...the body does get rid of damaged or unworthy seminal fluid, just like dead cells on our skin gets replaced with new cells. Keep this in mind.
