It taught me a lot about the science of what was going on with my brain and why it was so hard to quit. I didn't learn a lot in terms of new techniques for quitting though.

  3. I don't know about the book, but I have many times
watched the author, Gary Wilson (RIP) give talks
on You Tube, one is a TED talk.

I think that the habit of researching about the addiction,
journalling, talking to people here, watching videos
and related activities are really good to
stave off any urges, and to change bad habits.

You can get it on Z-Library for free along with loads of other books on the subject.

If the methods you have tried don't work for you though one book probably won't change that. You need to look within yourself and find out what isn't working. I have fallen into the trap myself of searching for something to fix me, believing that if I just found the right workbook or the proper diagnosis that I would be cured. Change must come from within.

Although I haven't read the book yet, I have watched Gary Wilsons' TedTalk and there is also a two hour video on Youtube where he explains P addiction and all that it concerned with that. You might find that interesting as well, since it gives a great overview on what the problem entails and why it exists.
