In my years as an addict to PMO, I struggled a lot with seeking help from people like my family, friends, and community. However I found that other people are a invaluable source for your self improvement, and I wanted to share something that one man in particular told me amidst my struggles.

I was really at a low point in my life, probably the lowest I had ever been. I was depressed, angry at everything and everyone. This man, who I am forever grateful for, sat me down and told me something to the effect of this...

"... Remember every time that it is a choice. You have to make it. No amount of power in heaven or earth can move you to choose. Decide now."

That really stuck with me through the next few years. He wasn't just referring to abstaining from PMO I feel like. It was advice on how to pick yourself back up when you fell. I had to learn how to decide that I will keep fighting even after I PMO'd. I found it harder to PMO when I had already decided to not do it. And when I did fall to the temptation it still gave me strength to continue on fighting the good fight.

I have had the great privilege of working with people who want to stop smoking. In the program I worked with the first thing we did was sign a "contract" that they would stop smoking and in return, you would receive a happy, healthy and more fulfilled life.
So my challenge to anyone who reads this is to decide now. Write your commitment and benefits of keeping that commitment on a piece of paper and stick it in your wallet. Read it all the time. Say it all the time. Tell your close friends/family/other of your commitment. I saw success in the ones who owned this tool and used it to the fullest extent.

    Go get 'em!
