Hello, I've participated in the nofap challenge to make a change and I'm on my day 11. And I do getting the intense urge to watch porn and masturbate ,these urges don't fade away and older memories/flashbacks of videos keep hopping in. So my question is, how to will it take to recover from this withdraw synptom?
Urges and withdrawal symptoms are a different things. Urges will really diminish after 20days\one month, but they never go away completely, Withdrawal symptoms are all those physical an mental negative symptoms that happens to most of people on nofap (depression, anxiety, pain in the muscle, joints, and many others), and they can last from 3 month to a year, more or less.
