Hmmm It depends I think. I say that based only on reading people's responses in these journals, and just a touch of wider 'research' on the internet. For me, it has reduced it. And that has been very welcome indeed. For those with PIED, a flatline is often encountered at some point of the journey, meaning they have little or no drive at all. Later, it picks back up again. Not having a clear idea of what 'normal' is in this context, I conclude with some hesitation: Over time, abstaining from PMO* normalises a person's sex drive. If it was way too high, like mine was, it will lower. I and a few other guys have experienced this. If it had fallen away, as your query suggests yours might have done, it will pick back up at some stage - a few guys with PIED have suggested that the PIED disappears after a reboot and they have a sex drive with which they are quite happy. I think that's a fair representation of the logs I've written. Do visit a range of logs - this issue does come up. Perhaps a better term than 'normal' is 'your baseline'. You might have no idea about your baseline, but it I will hazard a guess that you will encounter it once your are well into your journey. Sometimes when I abstain for a few days I notice my sex drive shoots through the roof and I become attracted to just about any and every woman I see, but other times I bottom out (flatline) and feel absolutely no desire at all. Lots of guys say they feel super human on the days that their sex drive spikes, and that's about the best way to explain it. I often feel like I could hulk smash through walls or fly out windows on those days.
