What's been seen cannot be unseen. What's been heard cannot be unheard.Once a goal is set cannot be unset. There is only success or failure. If you know nothing about nofap then ignorance is bliss. But if you've set a goal to stop fapping then treat is as life or death because it is.Ask yourself this question and be honest. If you cannot commit 100% to yourself is there anything in life you can truly commit to? If you cannot truly commit to anything in life can you ever be successful...in anything? I'm not going to say fapping is bad or that porn is bad. That's up to you to decide. But choose your goals wisely.A life of failure is no life at all.If you set a goal of one week, 30 days,90 days then treat that goal like everything you've ever wanted in life depends on it because it does.If you cannot commit to yourself you will ALWAYS be a failure.Life as failure is not worth living.Forgive yourself for everything that happened until this day.It doesn't matter anymore.Today you start committing to yourself. No more putting others before you.No more people pleasing. No more living in the past. That shit is dead. This is life or death.

This exactly. It's like reading my own thoughts. I'd like to add that I feel that I need to look beyond those goals of 30 or 90 days. I can't treat them as a goal - because my mind will use such a goal or milestone as a reason to start PMO-ing again.

For instance, you can't quit smoking for 30 days. You gotta quit for life. There's no room for porn in your life, anymore. For ever. Realize that you're not giving up something nice you'd secretly prefer to keep doing. You're giving up something that has absolutely no positive value for you whatsoever.

(Not saying you didn't mean this or to sound like a know-all, I just started refraining from PMO-ing, amongst smoking tobacco and marijana - I'm just pep-talking myself, and breaking my mind patterns, haha.)

Thanks for your awesome and true post.

I am stuck in my own world and I always meditate on my problems and how to solve them per se. I am not too worried or concerned about others and I like to name myself the meditative monk lol. I like to be in groups and to attend church.

I agree with all of this, except for when you state that "A life of failure is no life at all." I realize that it is meant to be inspirational, however I think that a better thing to say is " A life of a quitter is no life at all." This is due to the fact that it doesn't matter how many times you fail, as long as you keep trying you will succeed eventually. Hell, most businessmen have on average 4 failed attempts before becoming successful. Just some food for thought.

Hah. Good one. But it's more of we are recovering, rather than quitting. At least that is how I think of it.

Life as a failure is worth living until you don't give up!! "Life as a failure is not worth living" sounds too suicidal and stupid. There is always a chance to make your life beautiful even when you are 70 years old and you failed 9875698345x before.

Thinking this way for me worked cause beside nofap I had bigger goals in life. For me is like "if I cant do this how I am supposed to do the other ones".I write my way of thinking here hoping it will help others to.Wish all the best :)
