A few days ago, I asked my group of friends about their masturbation frequency and surveyed if porn really affecting their lives! So when do you say that you developed a habit has starting destructing you! Well Every Individual is different, You cannot say if Porn addiction has really affected their lives. It depends on person to person. Some may start feeling depressed and lack of concentration while for some, it acts as a stress buster. Some become sex deprived due to ongoing bad relations with their partner while some learn sex from watching the stuff! I drew conclusions on the basis of different experiences from different people. So here I am...... When you are exploring sex, exploring porn, exploring your sexual side. It's said to be called Normal. For example, You watched porn for the first time of a certain category, then next time you're watching it for some other category, Consequently, you're repeating this behavior as to find out what else you can find new in porn. You're in safe zone bro. On the other hand, You're sticking around a particular category or a particular pornstar or a particular video or some particular experience or hashtag, just for the sake of pleasure. You're not safe man. After that you feel guilty, and the cycle continues for consequent watching sessions. A person, in this case, is said to be porn addicted. In severe cases, it starts affecting your daily life which i feel no need to mention as this page is all about that only.
you have a porn addiction when you couldn't quit it. Try go without porn and a person with porn addiction will experience extreme cravings to watch porn.
Maybe a few months ago, I was in denial. I thought my depression, anxiety and mental health problems were due to other factors. I became suicidal, thinking that nothing would fix me and that my OCD (named HOCD) was an actual sexual interest. I then discovered this group out of the blue and I realised all my mental problems have stemmed from porn addiction and super frequent M'ing. The crucial point with a porn addiction is knowing you couldn't quit. Without it, you "suffer" and the withdrawals are hell.
When you find it difficult to pass a day without watching it .when you can't find satisfaction with one or two videos and you thirst for a particular position ,video or category. When you spend as high as 7 hours or more watching porn in a week
When you close your eyes and u see nothing but naked women It is so bad for u it objectifies women who are not sex toys.
Do Remember, these urges are temporary and there's a whole new world out there waiting for your contribution in making it a better one!
In these days of total lockdown, it's even more difficult to stay busy in productive activities, but do remember why you've started this journey? All the Best Karan!

Have you tried to quit porn unsuccessfully in the past? Do you experience withdrawal symptoms when going without porn? Do you continue to use porn despite significant negative consequences in one or more aspects of your life? Do you engage in risky or excessive masturbation practices? Have you cancelled significant social or work-related events to use porn? Has your porn use escalated in frequency or extremity over time? Have you escalated to genres of porn that once would have not interested you or even disgusted you? -- There are a few more, I remember reading a list of these signs off some medical place once, but generally speaking if you answer yes to two or more of those there's a pretty solid chance you have some level of addiction - and if you answer yes to many of them I wouldn't say there's much doubt. Personally, I answer yes to all of those criteria.
To some extent YES....There were many social awkward things happening around me few days back...And those things I didn't wanted to face....So yeah, I used Porn as a means of escape from them. And thus, I can say I developed a Porn addiction
