What is THE worst movie, book or video game you've ever seen, read, or played in your life and why?

Knock Knock -
I found it on popcorn time, checked the trailer (which was pretty good) and watched it
it was basically a twisted porn movie in Hollywood style.
I can't believe that I actually watched it till the end

 

It has Keanu Reeves in it so I probably would have watched it as well and fall into their trap. Loved him in the Matrix, John Wick and Constantine

I could say a lot of things for this... but one sticks out in my mind.

So, my husband is a manager at the movie theater, and I can't remember why, but one night we were able to go in and watch whatever movie we wanted at like 1 in the morning or something, all by ourselves. We got all fancy and went to dinner first and made a special date of it. Out of all the movies that were out at the moment, the only one we wanted to see was Grown Ups 2.

Even given how special of a situation it was, basically being a once in a lifetime kind of thing to have the whole theater ro ourselves like that, we didnt make it past like half an hour of that garbage. We both finally said it was terrible and we didnt want to watch it anymore, so we just went home and went to bed. Lol

 

Recently I had a terrible TV experience. I absolutely love Supergirl, but there's an episode in season 3 that was just absurdly laughably horrible and stupid. That show often gets political, but I usually just roll my eyes a bit or joke about it.

But theres this episode where the director of the DEO, which is basically a secret government agency that fights alien threats, decided to give this huge speech about how they aren't going to be using lethal weapons anymore, and that if anyone has a problem with it they can leave. The whole episode was all about how bad guns are and it was so cringy and forced and idiotic, because obviously they're using lethal weapons in the very next episode, because no duh, how else see you going to fight incredibly powerful alien creatures?

Also, they basically made it out to be that they were making a statement to the world about their stance on violence and guns or whatever, but the DEO is a secret organization... nobody even knows it exists. So how is that going to make any kind of statement? So freaking dumb.

And of course, given that two of the main characters involved were black men, they forced in tons of commentary on racism and such and it was all just so forced. Felt like watching a liberal propaganda film. I mean, Supergirl does that a lot, but this one was the worst.

I can only say about movies as I have not read and played much books video games....
I will say "kabhie kabhie" .... it's an Indian film from 70s..... it's script is very stupid and confusing......still it was bit entertaining... ..but gradually you realize how stupid and senseless the story is

 

The Star Wars Holiday Special. It ruined my childhood. Grandpa Itchy jerking off to his holo-porn device. Chewbacca's creepy perverted son. Luke's lesbian haircut. STIR WHIP STIR WHIP. It seriously traumatized me for life. Carrie Fisher even said she was doing coke on the set. No wonder Lucas tried to bury it.

 

Actually I don't like star wars and Star trek at all

I remember watching himym and in it barney Stinson was a huge fan of this
....there are other science fictions much better than this

 

I don't necessarily consider myself a Star Wars fan, but I grew up watching the original trilogy (I have seen the prequels only once, none of the newer Star Wars films) and definitely appreciate and love those movies for their storytelling and filmmaking, especially when I was a child. Also, some of the Star Wars video games have been pretty good. But yeah, Star Wars is apparently classified as "space opera" by George Lucas himself, so I don't really think it tries to be science fiction, it's more like fantasy in space. And I can understand if that isn't your thing if you are a fan of actual science fiction.
