Started growing and smoking and I'm of mixed opinion on whether I want to bother . Wether o.shpuld stop or whether o should just smoke occasionally.

Everyday is usually what I do . Slows me down but minimally I have a very high tolerance to weed so I need to smoke a tonne and it usually wears of within an hour or so .the high itself isn't anything remarkable . It just chills you a bit. But along with that chill your verbal recollection and processing is definitely slower . So your not just chill your minimally retarded .
Which which is quite bizzare especially if it's a daily activity. That said I'm having a difficult time not smoking . Even if the high isn't anything special and I have to smoke a tonne for an hour or two I still have a smoke that day .

One thing I've noticed is weed makes me less aggressive minimally I'm still aggressive weed also makes me more emotional . You make a tonne of random associated thoughts .

You hear tonnes of people smoke weed to deal with depression I could probably understand that as it is a relaxant but I would be more concerned about the weed casuing the depression in the first place or at least prolonging it's existence or severity .if you have real bad depression and you do fuck all anyway the. Sure weed myt be good but if you don't have depression then we're sure could give you depression . Weed makes you apathetic

I'm struggling to see weed as a long-term thing to do despite the fact I've been smoking weed everyday for the past 3 months

  2. I been smoking weed for 15 years and I have been sober for 2 weeks, I noticed a dramatic difference in my mood since I am naturally aggressive and it has made a comeback, my idgaf attitude is back my need to filter myself has lessened, but I made note that when I smoke up I don't dream, and since I quit I dream vividly, my depression sticks with me, weed or no weed, but once it's over I can cope better, weed dragged out my cope and I could build myself up and de-spell old notions of inadequacy.

now that I quit I likened it to a stay at a mental ward, and now i am out and smoke free I can use what I learned in the weed ward and move through life easier but with more bravado. weed helps a lot for those who need it, and it can become a crutch and hold on to you if you're not careful, as with anything it can be addictive if we depend on it to make it through the day.

what weed does to your brain from a long term users perspective is keep you in a haze and burn your life up. but it can also be a good thing if you're having a very hard time in life, it makes mental stressors manageable, but be careful and learn to walk straight on your own.

that's just my take on my exp with weed.

I smoked for 6 years or so, with phasesof everyday smoking at times. I recommend quitting. You are addicted, I was too.

Why ask on a porn recovery forum when the medical consensus is one simple Google search away?

Pot is addictive, but differently, it is seductive in a different way. If you could limit it to occasionally as you said and keep it that way, it truly could be the best of both worlds. But it’s not as cut and dried ( no pun intended!) as looking it up on Google for a medical consensus as @ShadyPerson said. It really is unique to each person, unlike other drugs. The problem is, it seduces itself into your being, and you don’t know when that line has been crossed to where you are just doing it everyday and forget about how good it feels when you have been away from it for a while. It has taken me decades to realize that! It has given me great creative ideas, but then I would get lethargic after smoking everyday and then just think about doing projects, not doing them.

  8. This was my problem for the longest time, I have BOOKS!!! filled with project ideas that I wanted to start and finish but was too puffed out to do any of them, also pared with depletion with pmo it all stacks and wears us out.

coffee is the next thing to go.

  9. You seem to have a lot of threads about this subject. It seems to me that you already know that this stuff is harming you, or you wouldn't be asking about it all the time and trying to figure out if it's good for you to keep doing. I think you already know the answer.

The combination of marijuana and porn is particularly harmful; it will cause the harm caused by porn to be much worse than using porn without marijuana.

Also, you will find that that marijuana will have a negative effect on your job, professional career or school work.

growing up i was forever switching schools and how i found my group was at the smoke pits, but man i wonder what high school life is like with all these edibles now man. There was a stint in my life, i lived in the middle kinda of my country then a sudden move all the way to the west coast, i knew no one , had no idea what they weed was like, i always thought because of gangster rap that the west had the best smoke, i hung with these guys chiefing it up, it was hella strong , made me feel different , i chalked it up as, " this that west coast sh**" it wasnt till later i found out it was laced , i was smoking that dirty weed, i developed slight schizophrenia, signed my self up to the ward, had the shakes, tremors , sweats, kept choking on my tongue, puking, slight audio / visual hallucinations , saw the devil walk by my door slowly grinning at me, i was tripping balls, so i cant really pin point if weed alone causes schizophrenia, as i have experience with it, i havent experienced that type a nightmare in awhile.Hell yeh i still blow that bomb kush, but only nights, its that government weed so you know its strong AF . I medicate for some conditions i have, so i can tolerate myself an others are able to tolerate me.There is nothing else i can find that is able to help me as weed does, i tried plenty alternatives, so i dont know if weed causes schizophrenia as it is not coming back so far and its been hella years.
side note: iam currently enrolled in university an my grades are on point, does marijuanas have negative effect i just dont know

I have seen that too- the schizophrenic symptoms of people I have seen who use mj several times a day, everyday. And they truly are addicted. Personally, I don’t think it’s evil, it has helped me through a few very rough patches by basically helping me be able to think through the situation and reason. It’s like ice cream: a few times a year is a pleasure, but you do it all the time you are going to have a lot of problems both physically and mentally. It all boils down to self control, staying with it and not becoming obsessed with anything.

ok now that i remember, i did live next store to a stoner, got stoned everyday that i can remember. im sure he lived alone cause i never ever seen anyone visit him, he would laugh out loud, like he laughed hysterically, an i assumed he talked on his phone cause i always heard him talking, what was trippy was it was a big house being rented to us, shared laundry , i can lock my side an he can lock his side,so i always locked my side, i would hear him laughing while doing the laundry, i was like oh hell no this fool better not kill me, he later on showed up on the city news, he sexually assulted a teen girl, i dont know if they found him. but i have tons of stoners in my family an ive noticed no schizophrenic ness ,

I quit using cannabis daily because I started having panic attacks, didn't feel like I was dying.

It's interesting to see your reflection on marijuana and its effects on the brain, especially considering that this thread is a year old. Your insights about daily use and its impact on cognitive processes are valuable. It's essential to be mindful of how any substance, including marijuana, affects our mental and emotional well-being.
Your observations about its potential effects on aggression, emotions, and apathy are valid concerns, and it's crucial for individuals to weigh the pros and cons of their usage.
If you're still exploring alternatives, consider different smoking accessories like bubblers. It's an option that might align better with your preferences.

I wished I could smoke responsibly. It’s either I stop it completely or I smoke it everyday. Rn I’m smoking every day. Gonna cut down and go on a t break soon.

    CBD is based.

Weed should be recreational on the weekends ESPECIALLY if you would be drinking otherwise.

Otherwise you're coping by saying you're not addicted lol

I meet too many hardcore potheads, and it takes over them.
