What does it generally means

I'd wager that you probably don't have an ugly face; it's only in your mind's eye through some self-deprecation that entered in your life somewhere in the past. Getting past addiction and demoralizing behaviors start to cure those inner wounds of self-depreciation, the real reason you need addictions in the first place, as a poor and failed treatment, a quick high (dopamine spike in the brain) and anesthetization that doesn't last or cure anything. And once that wound begins to heal after many months of sobriety, your transformed inner consciousness into self-confidence and an inner embrace of a newly realized inner peace and beauty will come out more so and reflect in your face and features all the more. As when we know that someone has an inner beauty, their outward features become all the more radiant. This can/will happen for you. Best wishes on your recovery path and makeover!

 

Back in the day I didn't like myself either, physically. Didn't like my face, didn't like parts of my body. If the age in your profile is correct, it was around that age that I started changing how I saw myself. With age comes acceptance, and with that acceptance comes comfortability with oneself.

Obviously it's not a conscious or voluntary process, so I'm not gonna tell you to force yourself to change it. Just giving you hope that the importance you give to certain aspects usually changes with time.

 

I had the same. I felt like my face/head is really ugly. Its not. I did not even believe when sone ppl told me Im nice. But than I just realized ppl like me, girls. So I got used to the idea Im not extremely ugly.

I think I will talk to more ppl about it. Girls I speak to. Most likely they will tell me Im insane thinking I might be really really ugly.

I believe.. its some shut from the past, which made us think we are ugly AF. Its a mindfuck which can go on for decades.. it certainly was the case for me. :/

Stay strong, you most likely are not ugly. And most certainly not AS ugly as u think.

 

is it possible you could get contacts instead? Ditching the glasses would bump you up a point or two tbh.
