What do you count as a relapse?

First of all, I personally use an ad-blocker and a porn blocker to avoid triggering pictures/videos when browsing the net. I find this really helpful. Many will argue that you shouldn't rely on it which is true but, it is still a good idea to avoid temptation.
Second, I consider that I have relapsed if and only if I either masturbate, open a porn tab in my browser (not even looking at videos/pictures, just opening a tab for a few second !), or both which is worse. Having sex is a bit special, but now that I changed my program to PMO free (and not only PM), I would count it as a relapse to !

I may sound a bit extreme but I really think that if one wants to succeed, he has to reset his counter as soon as he has looked at porn even for a few seconds. Otherwise, I sure the guy will eventually PMO !

I completely agree however where do you draw the line? Can you stare at girls in bikinis and count it “not a relapse” or on YouTube looking at sexualised thumbnails or triggering thumb nails because it’s technically not porn? Just curious. It’s like an alcoholic that has a sip of whiskey and gets a buzz. It’s still a relapse.

But at the same time it’s almost impossible to escape the sexualised images these days.

Don't worry, it is ok to look here and there on a woman that is not naked and you don't have ridiculous sex fantasies. But if you decide to look for something to kick your dopamine in your head or you find something by mistake and you will decide to watch it for a longer period of time than I would update a counter if you have there a mention about the porn as well. You are literally trying to fight against your brain so you are not a slave of your brain. You want to be able to stop yourself from watching inappropriate unhealthy material as porn is.

Assuming you have looked at pictures of women in bikini, why did you looked at it ? If this is to get aroused, to have pleasure, then this is a relapse for me. It is not as bad as looking at porn + MO but I would count it as a (small) relapse. If you looked at it for an other reason (I don't know maybe you're an expert of bikinis seeking the next fashion), then it's not a relapse.

The thing is I used to get aroused by those kind of pictures. I didn't count it as a relapse in the past but I've noticed that I would looked at more of those "soft" pictures and a few days later, I finally looked at porn. So my advice is to avoid this behavior. It is easier to stay away from temptation !
