What do people assume about you?

People assume I am arrogant, I am crazy and that I am gay (yeah, thanks to porn for all that )

 

People assume that i'm either gay or metrosexual. That i'm weird(which, even I consider myself to be). Smart, but in a condescending kind of way. Stuck-up(irl only). No one is sure of my race. They always assume i'm either this or that.But, generally I have good "PR" with peers.

I'm turning 23 soon, but some people assume i'm 18. I have a younger brother, but they think he's older. I don't know if he seems more mature or I look younger.

 

Yes. I get very offended by it. I don't know whether it's a compliment or an insult. One coworker told me I had a "baby face"; so if she saw me and my brother standing side by side and thought I was younger, i'd understand where she was coming from. But other people, I would have to read the context and mood; and I hate overthinking.

I can be in the line at a store, watching other people buying a pack of cigarettes, and see that they never get asked for their I.D(even guys that I personally know are younger than me). But, when I get to the counter, "Sir, can I see your I.D.?". And sometimes, I forget my I.D.. So, I wait in a long line just to find out I forgot my I.D. so I can't buy a pack right then and there(that was my fault I suppose).

People assume that I go clubbin based on how I dress and that I know most of the area where I live, when in reality I'm a metalhead with no idea where the nearest supermarket is.

 

Most people i ran into have often assumed that i'm either a psychopath(because i'm quiet), a serial killer, a criminal, a ghetto black guy, a cop(because of my car), The next school shooter, a drug addict/dealer, or that i'm gay(because i don't have a girlfriend/not actively looking for one/not having a lot of casual sex/me being a virgin at age 26).
