What are your thoughts about this?

  1. This was on the website authentictantra.com

"The benefits of semen retention can not be achieved by being celibate and avoiding all sexual activity."
"The full benefits can only be attained by experiencing sexual arousal, without ejaculation."

I, personally would like to believe this as I do very well with not ejaculating, but I do struggle with masturbation and a little with porn.

That is a lie. Both roads can achieve the same. Practice with a partner can help balance yin/femenine energy within you more easily but being celibate you can do that too.
When you read about sex transmutation try reading from wise men like mantak Chia. Other wise it can create confusion in you.

  3. I don't believe it's a lie. I think their point is that with sexual stimulation the life force can be more easily spread throughout the body. As long as the semen is transmuted, and not ejaculated, the greater benefits can be achieved. My personal opinion. You can think whatever you want.

"The full benefits can only be attained by experiencing sexual arousal, without ejaculation."

It is not an opinion it is a fact. You point out a text, the text says the full benefits can only fully be attained by experiencing sexual arousal.

What you say is valid when you are a beginner sex can help to move your sexual energy more easily but you talked about a quote in your thread, not about your thoughts on the subject.

There are many great mahsiddhas tantric master that were celibate others were not celibate and achieve the same. Like many saints and profound masters both paths are valid.

But to point out that the dual path or through sex is the only one path or the best path that is just not truth. There is not absolute truths also this is not about morality or good or wrong. It's about what fits you best.

I tell you, because I have practiced more than 20 years tantra. And met masters and also I was a monk for a while, later on I practiced tantric sex. And both paths give results the same results and the end of the day.

Agree with @modern milarepa. All roads lead to Rome. That's why plenty of disciplines, practices and even religions. Just in yoga there are many types of yoga. Yesterday I was trying to research a type of yoga to control ejaculation called pariyanga yoga but couldn't find anything except general information and videos in Tamil so sadly I havent been able to crack the info.

I'm very interested in the topic of ejaculatory control, I will appreciate any type of advice, suggestion, books, practice whatever on the topic
