I don't know about "streaks." Maybe consider changing your mindset about this. A "streak" implies that you intend on masturbating, eventually. There is nothing consistent about streaks. After my last relapse, I knew that there was only one of two options for me: to escape this prison that my mind had created and not look back. I don't even want to think about the other option. Giving up PMO is a scary proposition for most of us, especially the younger population. We will grasp at anything to justify not giving this up completely. Because of our fear, we don't have the ability to envision what the other side is like. It seems that it's just easier for us to convince ourselves that we have limits. This is ignorance. I KNOW that you can do this. I wish there were a way to make you feel this. The more you work at this, the more you will see. I like to use a favorite analogy of mine to explain this, because it is easier to relay. But think of a flashlight. The beam is narrow when close. But the further away you get, the more things become illuminated. That's how recovery is for me. In the midst of this addiction, I couldn't see what was happening to me. But the further away I got, the more light was cast on this. I was able to see the whole picture. Masturbation was only the vehicle that brought me here. Get out of this prison and don't look back.
Just some friendly advice. I know you'll probably want to continue your "challenges." Believe me, I know where you're at. Don't take too long to get living, bro. "Challenges" mean limits.

Sometimes, it's down to millisecond by millisecond. There is a saying in AA..."90 meetings in 90 days." I can see the practicality in this. I don't go to AA, but I did get in a shitload of trouble when I was younger. I don't know if you've made it to 90 days before or not. I tell people to just DO THE 90! Reward yourself afterward if you want. Relapse will feel different, though. My last relapse was at 136 days. I KNEW what I had thrown away. That was the difference. I KNEW. I beat myself up. That relapse taught me that I had just scratched the surface of something. Something foreign, but good. It taught me that this was much more than about counting days. Patience and understanding will be your friends.

When I made to my personal best of 23 days, I practiced meditation and deep breathing before I went to sleep every night. I'd say its important to stay occupied, especially early on like in the first week. Establishing good habits every day will help go a long way into recovering well. Making sure that you sleep on time and get enough sleep will be key too. That's probably the thing that cost me my best run. You want to get to bed before midnight, I find staying up past that will catch up to you and could cause your willpower to weaken when you need it. Otherwise its just the basics, staying away from those potential triggers, no edging etc. You just have to believe that you can live free from PMO. Just listen to that part of you, that part of your brain that wants to live free from these addictions. You're making good progress so far, just keep it up man! I believe in you!

P.S. - Sorry I forgot to kik you man, just been a little busy. I'll add you asap!
