I had a wet dream last night and after i lost all my benefits. I feel like i just PMOed. I kinda wanted a wet dream but also and mostly not because i wanted a few weeks without ejaculating at all. Wet dreams ruin EVERYTHING. And now im feeling guilty because i wanted one. This is the problem with rebooting for me, There is always some guilt to deal with 24/7 and it tires me, I meditate, take cold showers, Workout yet nothing.

Hi there Iggyshness! While wet dreams are demoralizing, they aren't really what's ruining your benefits, though it may feel like it. As opposed to regular masturbation, wet dreams don't tell the brain the release dopamine, it's just your body compensating for the excess seminal fluid built up. I believe what your experience is just your mind playing games with you, rather than a reset on your benefits. Just stay strong and power through it!

Hey man, when you are a brand new teenager wet dreams are NORMAL. If you were a kid that grew up in the middle of nowhere with no internet access, you would probably have a few wet dreams in your early teens. You MOST DEFINITELY did not just PMO. Not even close. Also, being 14 and wanting a wet dream is also pretty normal. I guarantee you, before there was ever an internet, or a VCR, there were millions of teenage boys who had wet dreams. There is no reason you need to feel guilty about it, in fact, you just shed some of your abnormal self and joined up with the so-called "normalcy" of being your age. If anything I'd be happy about this if I were in your shoes (but had 48 years of life on earth to reflect on, as I do :)).

As far as losing your benefits, I don't personally think the wet dream is the reason - but I'm not a doctor or anything. I think it's the guilt/shame you are feeling as an effect of the wet dream. You don't need to feel guilty for being a man who has sexual thoughts or desires. That's natural as rain.

  4. I hate wet dreams too they do cause some guilt. It helps if you think of it as a natural process, the male equivalent of menstruation. They say that the fluid doesn't contain a lot of sperm when you have a WD, I don't know though. In any case WDs are normal if you abstain. They should become less frequent

200 days is awesome. I think its human to have wet dreams and not within your control. Many people have relapse and you haven't. Well done!!!

I only just started and your progress has inspired me : )

I hope I wont relapse soon : ( I have a long way to go

You know what's funny? I did pmo alot during my teenage years (since I was 14), but I never had a wet dream until I was 20.

    Wetdreams are perfectly normal.
After a point in time, there has to be an outlet of all the pooled secretions.

Contrary to what you feel, I would be worried instead if a young boy never had a wetdream when abstaining from fapping for so many weeks.

Cheer up. You are doing good. 99% of the people in this thread (including me, most certainly) weren't half as smart as you are at your age. You're doing great. Keep it up.
