Basically, last night I had a WD. And today I feel nothing short of awful. I had a horrible sleep last night because of the WD I believe... Just wondering how long this feeling will last. Kind of feels like a relapse, but I know I did not. Feeling sluggish and sleepy, with little motivation. I'm hoping tomorrow, after a restful sleep, I'll bounce back and be on top again. Any thoughts?

So it wouldn't be impossible to say that a WD is ~10 days setback, even though some extreme injuries still heals, but the brain patterns? Will fetisches go away if you WD 3-7 times a month? No. Will you use your full potential? No.
Sorry to hear mate.. I think that what matters most is when the last one happened. If you go for a long time in between these, Ive noticed a faster recovery. You will probably feel much better tomorrow, but the more subtle effects will linger for a few days to a week, depending on how accustomed your body has become to your new positive habits. Whole milk and honey is great for recovering also, along with many herbs and nuts. Here is a good article I think you would like beauty. Breathing exercises are huge for recovery also, plugging one nostril and beaathing in for number of seconds, plugging that nostril and breathing out of the other for same number of seconds, and so on, back and forth.. Thanks for the suggestions citratox, I'm definitely going to check that site out. I haven't felt this bad after a WD in a really long time. Perhaps the mixture of the unrestful sleep and the WD are both plaguing me at the same time. Whatever the reason, I have also felt strong chaser effects today as well. I'm standing my ground though. I have control over myself when I'm awake, so there's no way I'm going to consciously relapse.
What did you eat the day you had a WD? Did you eat before bed? (-4 hours)? Did you sleep with tight underwear? Did you eat more than 2000 calories? Eggs, meat?
Mostly fruit Clumsy, mango and some chocolate milk about an hour before I retired. Didn't consume more than 2000 calories, ate pretty healthy. And had some meat around lunch time, no eggs though.
The lack of sleep can play a role here too, make sure to sleep well today and you shouldn't feel tired or exhausted tomorrow.
no problem, I agree I think lack of sleep is probably a good part of it. The combo of wet dreams and little sleep is a real killer. Yes, and I think it's best to avoid milk completely (that's from books I've read, citratox might have another opinion) and if you really want to drink milk it should be consumed in the mornings or for lunch time. But I think the most important rule is to avoid eating at night, or right before bedtime. Do really try to eat your last meal atleast 4 hours before bedtime, and if you really crave a supper, eat something very unstimulating, some rice, oatmeal or some vegetables. Don't ever eat eggs, meat, chicken, fish, milk or any other proteinrich food source at night, and avoid hot spices as well, unnecessary oils as well, if you eat a very low calory diet you will not have wet dreams, it's impossible I would say. But I don't want to advice anybody to starve himself or go around hungry all the time, so just make sure your diet is unstimulating in character.
I'm going to keep sipping on my warm milk before bed until substantial proof surfaces to sway me otherwise. It makes me sleepy!
I, too love to drink a cup of hot chocolate before bedtime. But if you don't suffer from serious insomnia (pretty common among PMO addicts) you should be fine without it. But it's your choice, but the fact that you drank chocolate milk before that WD quite says something doesn't it?
Well it does and it doesn't. You see, I've been drinking hot milk before I sleep for years. And just because I had a WD, does not automatically single that one single component out, in this case milk. If I did that, then I might as well say no mango before bed too, right? And if I continue to use that logic, then I might as well say no brushing my teeth before bed either, because I also did that before the WD.
Sure, best way is that you explore this on your own, see what works for you. For me, every calory-rich food and foods high in proteins such as eggs and animal foods are big no-no.
I'm glad you figured your situation out. But I agree with you, everyone is entirely different, and has their own trigger foods that could result in a WD. I guess I'll begin experimenting. But it will take a while I believe, as there are many other factors that can contribute to a WD.
