Hello everyone. Im into my 20th day of nofap by successfully abstaining myself from porn and masturbation so far. This is actually my second attempt into nofap because last time i relapsed and broken my 40 days streak due to sudden urge of watching porn out of nowhere and i felt terribly shit later but i tried explaining myself that this was a good learning experience and i saw the benefits, to err is human we make mistakes but the important part is to learn from it. So i promised myself that I'll take this challenge for atleast 3 months without yielding in no matter what.

Im going through flatline period since my relapse. Hardly getting any erections and the penis seems to be shrinked. I hope it will heal with time and come back to normal. Now coming to the point, a couple of hours ago i was watching a TV series where there was this lady police officer as one of the characters whom i found extremely hot. So immediately after finishing the tv series i went to google and looked for the hot pics of that particular female character inspite of knowing it might potentially put my nofap journey in danger. i know it was stupid. the search results showed some nude pics of female models aswel as the character i was searching wasn't that famous so Google showed me some other hot pics of models or i guess pornstars with similar kind of name. Those pics tempted me so much that i kept checking them out for like 2 mins and immediately closed the tab when i came back into my senses finally.

Does this counts as a relapse? Im confused and worried. I'll appreciate if anybody throws some light here. Thanks.

Technically if your goal is no porn then it is a relapse but your main goal is no PMO, you are fine but this is a wakeup call and since your addict part is now active now, it will take a few days for it to subside. So watch out for some chaser. This might be a perfect time to download K9 web protection. Set up a random password and send to someone here who can keep it just in case you need it in future. Good luck!

  3. I agree with Awakening, it is very important to see up K9.

I would say it's a slip up, not a relapse.. but i recommend you to stay away from such behaviours in the future, cause i think it slows down your reboot.

And yes, K9 is pretty cool.

It's not a relapse. But it is an extremely slippery slope.

The matter with me is that i was never a porn addict in my whole life as i never spent hours watching porn, i needed it just for few mins of quick masturbation for better arousal. My biggest enemy was masturbation, i used to masturbate at least 3-4 times a week, now this figure might seem normal to some people but it didn't work for me at all as we all have different body functions, it took me long to rectify this problem of mine as I've always lived in a delusion that masturbating 3-4 times a week is considered quite as normal and this is not what is affecting my health. But with time i rectified this problem because if i stopped masturbating for a week due to busy schedule, i felt more energetic, strong and confident later on plus my penis would turn in good shape. Otherwise this regular so called limited amount of masturbation caused me weekness, lack in confidence, anti social and shrinkage in penis size(it has come down to just 5 inches as compared to the original 5.5 in teenage days, im 24 now btw) .

So yeah my biggest concern is to abstain from masturbation for atleast 3 months and improve my overall health, if i successfully achieve this challenge then hopefully I'll continue later on. And thanks for your advice, will definitely try K9 to be safe from such mishaps in future :)

Even I use to watch porn for just few min everyday before I joined nofap but right now I am realizing that even these few min of porn everyday for years was enough to create powerful addiction.

I see these type of posts all the time. I saw porn for a couple of minutes, I saw a girl dancing n Youtube, I saw a show on HBO of people having sex. Did I relapse? Where did this type of paranoia evolve from............. No it's not a relapse. Recovery is different for everybody, different symptoms, results, etc. Some guys might masturbate a few times in recovery ( hopefully not to porn ) some guys might have lots of sex, etc. If you get this worked up over watching a clip of sex, what will be your mindset in the event you actually do relapse or go on a binge relapsing. Don't get so paranoid of these type of things, the important thing is the overall mentality of no porn/avoiding masturbation ( if there is Porn induced erectile dysfunction ). There will be bumps in the road, that's where you need to fight like hell to beat the urges. You might have to beat the urges 5 times a day, 50 times a week, but those are the battles.
