I think there's only partial truth to this, in certain circumstances for certain people. I think for those with a PMO addiction, having a reboot is a good idea. There is a plethora of evidence of habituation, attenuation of response to hyperstimuli, and the rewiring of neural pathways due to overexcitation of the pleasure centers of the brain. You have to reboot, go through a low, and then get back to normal and what nature intended.

Using Porn as a means to "use it" is a damaging addiction which can potentially cause you to experience Porn Induced ED (PIED).
