Uncontrollable sexual desires in the middle of my sleep

    Hi everyone, I really need your help. I already discuss this a few months ago, and this problem is one of the reasons I keep failing my noFap progress. So everytime I start doing noFap, EVERY SINGLE NIGHT, I have really strong sexual desires where I lose almost 2 hours of sleep. One positive thing is that I my sexual fantasies are sexually romantic acts with girls I know, and not porn acts, either way it stills damaging me. Now one of the reasons this happen I think imo, it happens during testosterone peek levels like 3-6 AM. To give more context I workout almost every single day in a consistent way, I believe it's a great way to get less porn temptions during the day and you feel less angry, but when I go to sleep I get soo horny to the point I accidentally start masturbating without evening noticing. Like I said, I already discuss this behaviour with this community that unconciously masturbating is not a reset/relapse if you catch yourself doing it and then stop doing it. Although there is a great chance that I end up ejaculate because it's EXTREMELY HARD stop masturbating especially if you in a sleepy state. Even if could stop mid masturbating or just having sexual thoughts for hours, it's soo agonizing plus I get really tired during the day.

    With all that said, is there ANY solution to solve my problem. This shit is fucking my life up to the point im having trouble keeping and forming realtionships with people and not truly apreciating my goals and dreams.

    Please, I would really apreciate any kind of help

    Bro I'm here for you, we can be in this journey together. many people silently suffer from PMO. which only reinforces further addiction.

    Whilst looking for help is an effort to change and that goes a long way if you truly commit to the process this time.
     
  3. Try adopting a nighttime routine that calms you before bed. No screens, maybe try reading a book or meditating.

    Dude, I LITERALLY do that, BEST way to fall asleep, but still it doesn't work. There a few months ago with the same workout consistency I was on 12-14 days, I still had the same problem to the point I failed because of it.

    Maybe I should try that. But men, you really need to do a fucking ritual just to get good sleep because of this addiction.

    I go to the gym, and I try to gain muscle, soo I lift weights intensively for like 1h30m, and get home like 10 pm
     
  7. I'd recommend you do that regardless of being addicted because it's good for you. But yes as addicts we need to take the addiction into account in times like this. Better than constantly relapsing right?

    Ya It is what it is. But a long time a ago I used to meditate consistently, then I stopped because I didn't feel doing soo and It was kinda boring to a certain time, and It didn't benefit me that much, because working out already was given the benifits that I needed. But still Im gonna give it a try again. If this works, well Im gonna stick with it for the rest of my life just like working out

    I’m having the same problem, I suppose I’ll try reading an actual physical book and avoid screens before bed

    One thing I want to mention here now that I know a lot of people have the same problem has me. I searched on r/nofap about this problem and one comment said to do push ups when you wake up with powerful sexual desires. I thought to myself and it actually made sense, if you exercise for like, let´s say max 5 minutes of push ups, you may start losing your boner and getting more tired to sleep again.

    Another thought that occurred is the cause of this. First of all I believe is the peak of testosterone which for me it occurs at 3-6 AM, normally for everyone it's 6 AM and the last theory that I believe is when you workout your libido starts to increase and your testosterone increase as well soo that's another reason why I get powerful urges at the middle of the night, soo the fact that reading and meditate before bed, I don't think it will stop this problem, because you can't control waking up in the middle of the night, you just can't, because I think it's inevitable in the early days of nofap, you can only deal with it in a positive way.

    Lastly, yesterday I didn't workout and I didn't read or meditate because I wanted to try doing push ups if I ever woke up with urges and see if it actually worked. Funnily enough, I didn't woke up in the middle of the night, I started to sleep late like 1 AM, (yeah I have to fix that), and only woke up with my alarm on 8:30 AM. With that said I think when you workout there is a great chance where you awake up with sexual desires because of increasing testosterone.

    Now, am I going to stop working out? FUCK NO!! Working out is one of the best activities to have less urges to PMO during the day, soo I guess I have to do push ups whenever I wake up from urges at 6 AM then I go back to sleep.

    I hope this tip help in any shape or form. Will update if this tip works or not. With that said, thank you all for your advices, and remember the key is to NEVER give up.

    UPDATE: Last night, my sleep was kinda weird, it's not new tho. Soo I was expecting to awake with sexual desires during my sleep, and it kinda did. What I remembered, I was dreaming about work (ya, kinda boring dream) and I caught up masturbating EVEN THO I wasn't having any sexual thoughts of any kind, and still was masturbating. When I realized what I was doing I stop it and I knew had to do push ups like I promised, but really didn´t want to. Soo I thought that I only need to go to the bathroom wash my hands and go back to sleep, because there weren´t any sexual desires. And it worked, went right back to sleep. This behaviour is soo bizarre, I think this is an old habit that I did a years ago when I started to get addicted to porn and it's reflecting during nofap.

    But still, I believe I will wake up with true sexual and powerful desires, and if that happens I will do some push ups to see if I lose the urges and horniness and go back to sleep in peace. With that said I will update you guys if that ever happens
