Today is day 40!

Its amazing what God and a day counter on your board can do. The fact that I've gone this long without masturbating at all, let alone to porn, shows that we all have self control and can truly be free. We just need to find something that gives up the courage to take that chance. I'm trying to never watch porn again. Just thinking about how it affected my life, in terms of a former relationship and vacations to some amazing places, makes me want to keep this streak as long as I can. I want to feel real love and have actual emotional investment into someones heart and mind, not just their body. I know I have a long way to go, but it's good to know I'm not alone on my journey. Slowly, I'm dealing with my insecurities and learning to love me first. Can't wait to see where I'm at in another 40 days.
