Hello all, Let me start off with acknowledging the feeling we all share; PIED is a scary m*therf*cker. I have been there, I still am, FOR NOW. Last 3 times I had sex I had trouble getting it up, and keeping it up. This was my wake-up call. Why am I so confident? Well, let me tell you that I have made impressive improvements being only on day 26 or 27 now. I will share my story and my ways. DO NOTE THAT THIS WORKED FOR ME, AND MIGHT WORK DIFFERENTLY ON YOU. ALSO NOTE THAT MOST OF MY HABITS HAVE BEEN AT MY SIDE FOR YEARS. So, let's list my most effective tools that helped me from the get-go. #1: Cardio-vascular exercise. Oh boy, here we go again. You must have read before countless times that exercising (cardio-vascularly though) does so much good for PIED, NoFap and life in general. It is said it is the greatest cure for most illnesses. And this is true. There are so many ways exercising helps you out, I will need only 500 words to describe them all. Just start f*cking exercising and thank us later. Please. #2: Releasing stress and avoiding stress. This one is very important. Stress is toxic for mind and body. You can not effectively re-wire if you are stressed or self-conscious all the frickin time. Learn to let go, and you mind and spirit will the chance to calm down and re-wire. Tips for releasing stress --> Do yoga. I love doing yoga since it distracts me a lot, it gets me in a social environment and it de-stresses my entire body. #3: Challenging your brain. You NEED to learn and challenge yourself to actually make neuro-genisis happen. Re-wiring will happen at it's most effective way when all your brainpower is directed at new tasks, challenges and works that make it impossible to even think about the PMO process. This way, your pathways to porn will weaken much sooner since it is not being used anymore and will rust. Your brain identifies this as a 'worn out' pathway and will weaken this addicted pathway. My tips are learning a new language, doing mind games, playing creative games, socializing and reading. #4: Ginseng extract. I am no expert on nutrition, but I have read and seen that Chinese/Korean Ginseng Extract is really great for your brain and vascular system. And to be honest, I feel like it helped me out a lot as well. I mean, my crazy results didn't come from nowhere. #5: Sleep 8 hours a day at a minimum. Sleep is very important for neuro-genisis and relaxing mind and body. This should come as no surprise... #6: Cold showers. Boy did cold showers make me a rock. I remember my first time jumping in a cold shower. My nervous system was shocked and i was panicking. But now, my nervous system doesn't even flinch. And this reflects in daily life as well. I don't feel nervous around girls anymore and I do whatever the flying f*ck I want because I don't have to worries about being nervous. #7: Socializing and doing new stuff. This is actually the same as #3, but focusing on improving social relations will make you happier, thus releasing dopamine, thus challenging you and making you a more all-round person. #8: Braintraining. Tell yourself every day in the morning that you are a BEAST. Tell yourself that no stupid addiction can destroy you. YOU WILL DESTROY PORN BY NOT GIVING IN TO IT. YOU CONTROL PORN, BECAUSE YOU DON'T NEED IT. AND WHEN YOU DON'T NEED IT, IT CAN NOT HAVE CONTROL OVER YOU. Tell yourself this shit every day. Even if it is a lie, eventually you will believe this lie. Trust me, I have been there. #9: Accept life and where you are. Respecting reality gives a sense of release and relaxation. This will make sure you will use your addicted pathways as less as possible. Many guys have been on here for 120+ days, but did little rewiring because they still used their addicted pathways by fantasizing about porn, quickly rubbing one out, edging or looking at pictures of girls on facebook. So don't give any attention to PMO if you can. Just know your goal (no PMO) and refrain from doing PMO activities or activities that lead to that. These are the best ones I could think of now. I might come up with more, but this post is getting way too long. Curious on my condition now? I get random boners when watching series, I most mornings have morning wood, but they still disappear fastly, but they are there for around 80%. My confidence is rising every day. My skin is clearer. I am being so much more productive. I nearly quit gaming. I am more outside. I am actually in a need for socializing and enjoying it. I have improved my sense of style, my appearance and attraction.
