"Trust the process" Try to incorporate various exercises in your routine but start slow. Maybe start off with just slow-walking on the treadmill and pushups or situps and then graduate to more advanced weight training. Other exercises such as Yoga and Swimming (my favorite) are also great to add to your routine. Don't feel like you need to have a perfect workout every time your body is going to adjust but it will take time.
As you quit M, you will NEED to replace it with productive things if you ever want to truly beat it. If you need any resources, I know a plethora of books and videos that you can watch and read. Just let me know, good luck bud!
