see, everything you see, touch, smell, listen etc are thoughts, so actually you have to go fundamental, like breathing exercises (pranayams). whenever you are in anxious mode, just focus on your breath for a minute or two. just keep in mind you cant control your mind, you can try anything, you just cannot. you can just direct your mind in other direction, focus on other aspects of life. mind is helpful, mind is just excellent in it's service, mind works diligently, you just have to become mind's lord, nothing else required.
