Video game addiction is basically the same as porn addiction psychologically, so no wonder if it "helps". It's the same drug in different form.
We even have a guy at our WA group who's fighting gaming addiction (as well as PMO). But well, at least no-living in front of your computer doesn't cause erectile dysfunctions... or does it? Lol.
A friend of mine used to masturbate to porn very much. Then he didn't want to do it anymore, because it made him feel filthy. Then he started playing video games and he told me that he doesn't get even morning wood anymore. When he was still watching porn, he had erections, but when playing video games, it's like his dick has been shut off. He is also very depressed and his other symptoms of porn addiction didn't go away after stopping PMO and starting video games.
I never said I had video game addiction though. My apologies if that's what it sound like in my first post.
