    Women want men who are dominant and masculine. Masculinity is under attack however in today's society, so alot of guys have turned into wimps and have no backbone.

    I think that's why such an inordinate number of women are into really rough sex is because they crave dominant men which is hard to find these days.

    Because a small percentage of them enjoy scat sex or domination? i wouldn't necessarily say that what they enjoy during sex always reflect on their personality, foot fetish is the most common type of fetish that does not mean men who are into that have no backbone. Even for those who are into domination the female is usually the one dominated.
    Something like 90% of all porn figure some form of degradation of women and while i don't have any stats i figure the same is true for most sex with sex professionals who again are mainly female. Probably same is true for normal* sex as well (i regard oral sex as a form of domination/degradation as for men being a "cocksucker" is a grave insult, or "cumslut").
    And even if that were true it would only be so for the west*, mainly western europe and the US who can't make more than 10% of the world population.

    Women like to joke about sexual stuff just as much as men, I think. And yes, these types of men are very misguided. Coprophilia is one of the worst fetishes because of the increased risk of infection.
