Theories on where transgendered person porn came from and why it's become a major issue

I've been thinking about why transgendered person porn is so addictive and why a lot of people here seem to be addicted to it even though it's unnatural and something you'd rarely see in nature. Of course, I understand that there have always been a small percentage of effeminate guys and masculine women, as well as hermaphrodites, etc., but they have been so rare that you might only have been exposed to someone like that in a news story or similar.

I think the rise of transgendered person porn and the addicition to it (and a militant group of trans activists) is a result of a huge number of events coming together. These events have all come together in a very short space of time.

I am listing these as the start of a discussion. They're in no particular order and I'm not suggesting some are more important than others. I am very open to your ideas.

1. A rise in disposible income and technology means that by comparison to our ancestors, we have a hell of a lot of free time. Over 100 years ago, many people lived on the land or worked manual jobs, and worked very long hours just to get enough to eat and to put a roof over their head. Literacy rates were much lower and life expectancy was also much lower. It meant people had no "time" to sit around masturbating!

2. People were generally much more religious, and whether you agree with religion or not as an organising principle in society, it gave people a moral framework where transgression of moral codes had potentially serious consequences, including death.

3. There was no way to easily and cheaply produce and disseminate porn. Even producing porn was potentially dangerous.

4. Medical technology was not even capable of imaging how a man might be turned into a woman or vice versa.

5. The role of women and men were much more defined in society and to be honest, there was no advantage to being a woman. Why would a man make himself a second class citizen?

6. With feminism came the struggle for equality, but as happens with all movements, eventually the script was flipped and now there are certain advantages to being a woman.

7. Sex roles have changed markedly in Western society. It is now no longer welcome or even advisable to display certain masculine traits. Men are taught that they will be rewarded for being more feminine (of course, most men find out this is bullshit).

8. Women are encouraged to be independent, every one of their achievements is celebrated like they're changing the world.

9. There is a lot to be gained by keeping the majority of working people stupid, confused and scared. This is nothing new, it's just that the way to keep people stupid and confused morphs to match the times.

10. Porn addiction requires constant novelty. So it makes sense that over time, tastes will morph to seek more and more bizarre and unusual stimulus. And what could be more weird than fucking someone who is neither male nor female.

This is just a random list. Please add, argue, disagree, agree, etc. My goal is to try to put all my disjointed thoughts into a book. I might do it over the Christmas break. This is therapeutic for me. I'm not trying to convince anyone of anything and I'm not trying to make a political statement or start a movement. But I am trying to understand what happened to me and thousands of other men, and how we prevent it happening again. If these random thoughts help someone understand their triggers and weaknesses and hence helps them stop their destructive behaviour then I'll be happy

 

I agree that the idea of a mixed gender, third gender etc. is an old concept. I suppose what I'm trying to say is that it has rarely if ever been a "mainstream" concept. In ancient civilisations, transgenderism, in my limited understanding of ancient history, was largely limited to the wealthy classes. And I think we also need to be careful about what we mean by transgender. I mean transgender as somone who is born with a clearly identifiable gender, but who at some point decides or feels that they want to be another gender, and they take positive steps to transition, whether that be through surgery, hormones, cosmetic procedures, etc. I don't count hermaphrodites as being transgender. In other words, I'm talking about people who make a conscious decision to change from one gender to another.

However, I do take your point that it would be incorrect to assume that transgenderism is something peculiar to modern western society. I suppose the question I'm asking is... Why is this becoming mainstream? Why are we seeing ever increasing numbers of people identify as transgender? I dont buy the theory that it's only because people are now free to identify that way. There is something else that's helping the trend. I'm not necessarily saying that it's a sinister trend... It might be completely innocent. And I'm not advocating hate of people who identify as trans. I am saying that a lot of them are just as confused and maybe they're being manipulated to do things they will ultimately regret. As a society I don't think we can live with a naive notion that simply feeding people's delusions will make them happy.
