    On my day 26
It's not the most important reason, but one of the most important ones, i think that one of the reasons why we keep relapsing after promising ourselves each time it's the last time, hating ourselves and hating PMO, everytime we come with a conclusion that it is ruining our lives, is because we kind of become less aware of how it ruined of lives with time when we are on streaks, personally with me this time and every time on a streak, the first week you be like, i will never look at a triggering photo in my entire life, i will not scroll mindlessly not even for a minute, after two weeks you be like, well i need to avoid looking at provocating pics on social media, after 3 weeks you find yourself watching a podcast or some youtube video with women being 50% naked and you find it okay, last time i was on a long streak i found myself even watching videos of nightlife and partying and kisses( how stupid is that lol), it is like you forget that this pmo is ruining your life and it is the worst thing that happened to you, i am not talking about when being on autopilot or strong cravings, i am talking about when you dont have urges but mindfully choose to engage in triggering activities or watch psubs, you forget how bad was pmo for you

I think the dopamine rush is so intense, your body wants it bad its willing to give up everything for it.

The dopamine rush is a big biological and chemical reason but it is more complicated and multifactoral than that brother, have a good day tho

I think most people PMO because they are unhappy, and the mind is trying to soothe that pain. PMO produces crazy levels of endorphins, so it DOES block out the pain... But if the issue is still there, the pain never gets resolved. And the cycle continues over and over - we turn to PMO to numb the pain that we don't know how to deal with. It usually requires some outside help to really deal with the underlying issue.

Thanks for asking - I'm just about to go off to bed. I wrote some stuff about this subject in my journal today, you might find it useful?

But if you need to talk about an underlying issue or some event that's taken place, definitely seek out someone you consider qualified, in real life. They can help you FAR better than a random addict on the Internet can.
