    Day 5

I feel very tired after work today. Not a ton to say. Glad to have some time off now. I can hear the shrieks of the fallen in the distance, tempting me towards the ring. I know I can resist. I have fought off far stronger urges than these before.

Make haste to the mountain fellowship!

Day 386 no PMO. Went for a long walk and started a new book on audible. Atomic Habits by James Clear. So far I really like it. They talked about the importance of what you think of yourself. To apply to nofap it would be like telling yourself “I have an urge to watch p but I don’t do that anymore” rather than saying “I have an urge to watch p but I’m trying to quit”. They also talk about “habit stacking” where you build off of a habit you already do to add in additional habits you want to do in your life. I realize I’m already doing this and didn’t even realize it. Every morning my habit stack is coffee, pray, nofap, Bible, Noom and Wordle. You guys should check out the book as I think it will be helpful in quitting this addiction.

Morning brothers! I'm inspired to share with you a piece from the Bible's Galatians 5:
    Life by the Spirit
13 You, my brothers and sisters, were called to be free. But do not use your freedom to indulge the flesh rather, serve one another humbly in love. 14 For the entire law is fulfilled in keeping this one command: “Love your neighbor as yourself. 15 If you bite and devour each other, watch out or you will be destroyed by each other.

16 So I say, walk by the Spirit, and you will not gratify the desires of the flesh. 17 For the flesh desires what is contrary to the Spirit, and the Spirit what is contrary to the flesh. They are in conflict with each other, so that you are not to do whatever you want. 18 But if you are led by the Spirit, you are not under the law.

19 The acts of the flesh are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20 idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21 and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23 gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24 Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the flesh with its passions and desires. 25 Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26 Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.
...hope you enjoy it as much as I do.:)

    Day 9
I feel aches and pains at my balls. Do you have any suggestions to manage that?

  9. Day 0.

Relapsed yesterday, again today. I can't say I am stressed out about anything, things are good, but constantly relapsing every day.

Initially I always thought stress was the trigger, since I had always been stressed out by a thing or two, but currently no stress at all. But....

I was bored earlier on after finishing up my online classes for the day, I need to find things to consume my time. I got a job, starting April 1st, hopefully I could use that as distraction. But I don't know if simply getting busy will help at this.

Day 70 Check in: I am a Warrior of Gondor! Ten weeks feels good, I'm not going to deny it. I've done longer stretches in the past, but none so intentionally or with lifetime commitment behind them. This ten weeks can (and I pray will) turn into ten months, ten years, and beyond.

This book is one of my favorites. I read it a few years ago and liked it, but when I read it again to start this year, I really took the principles to heart and put them into practice and it has made a huge difference for me. Love that book now. Keep it up!

Such beautiful verses! Thanks for sharing them.

Take aspirin and go to bed early to have a really good night's sleep.I mean 1 or 1.5 hour earlier than you normally go. Otherwise just ignore and do not worry about it. I had this thing before and not once was going away sometimes even without aspirin....and keep being moderately active through the day to keep your metabolism high.:)

It looks like you are still enjoying your good health and have a plenty of it to pay for your indulgences, so that you don't really believe in its harmfulness. It's only a matter of time until this little health strikes tip the balance of your health and you gonna have everything and brain fog, and bad nerves and the tonnes of other symptoms reported by other brothers. And maybe this wake up call will sound in 10 years down the road for you...,but think about time you will spend on it through 10 years and what it does and will do to your self-esteem.

    Checking in Fellowship!! :)

    39 days, hardmode baby :)

heavy insomnia last night, i think due to eating a lot of dark chocolate, and working out late. i made proper changes to my routines so it doesn´t happen again :).

While in bed awake, i had terrible porn thoughts, that really shake me up, but i never give in. eventually i fall asleep, but just a couple of hours, and very shallow sleep. Hope today i can sleep better :)

The overall spirit of the Fellowship is very good, lot´s of solid streaks.

Let´s keep going my brothers. Towards the Mountain!!! :emoji_muscle:

  15. Day 53. Not much to say - been extremely busy, which has helped me a lot to suppress the thoughts.
I'm appreciating the moment, but like always, paying attention and making sure I don't relapse.

Stay strong everybody! And thanks for the support - happy to be a dwarf :)

    Day 74

Today I drove home for my Dad’s 60th birthday; we’ve had an odd relationship, we love each other dearly but aren’t ‘close friends’ per se. I’ve been making more of an effort to get to know him and I got to spend a lot of quality time with him today - he taught me how to change a tyre!

I got to learn more about his journey as a Christian, and was surprised to hear some things I didn’t know. All in all I’m encouraged in my reboot journey after seeing my parents relationship, they model a very healthy marriage and taught me everything I know. For now I’m just excited at the prospect of making it to 100 days in under a month!
