So I finished the 30 day challenge and I relapsed on the 1st of December. The causes were online chatroom sites (which I used to supplement my porn addiction), unhealthy diet and lack of a schedule. I also didn't work on building real world relationships and instead used my mental clarity to be a dick and argue with people about details no one cares about.

I've been relapsing, on average, about every 3 days following the completion of NNN. Yesterday I binged and spent an hour watching adult entertainment programmes on my television. I narrowed down my focus and found two main sources for pornography in my house: satellite TV (having access to many channels which show explicit content, even hardcore content) and my old computer (which I would use to speak to women on chatrooms, which inevitably went sexual).

I'm getting rid of the old computer tomorrow because it isn't mine. Imagine how disgusting that is, jerking off over someone else's laptop. This is how bad my issue with self-control is. My aim overall, because I was struggling to find a reason why I want to do NoFap, is to build my self-control and self-discipline. I'm currently taking cold showers in addition to NoFap and I have done so consistently for 3-4 days now for at least 20 minutes.

I want to condition myself to take a cold shower whenever I feel the urge and to use urge surfing to root the urge out. I usually find that when I'm scrolling through shit online, I'm usually bored which leads to a relapse. Or, I could be scrolling mindlessly out of sexual frustration. This was the case with my 30 day streak.

My plan is to surf for 10 seconds and then shower for 10 minutes. I find that the urges don't completely die unless I'm in the shower for that time. This is going to difficult though, I have to constantly remind myself to not binge scroll and to stay away from social media and television. So I've set a goal to not watch TV for an entire day, so until 8AM tomorrow. I can't uninstall it, it's my dad's.

I'd like some tips on other things that I could try. Thanks bros.

By surf I mean urge surfing. It's when you listen to whatever sensations are in your body and let them pass. So I'll wait for 10 seconds to let it pass and get into a cold shower if it doesn't pass in that time-frame.
