Stressed out and can't stop wanking?

    I am really stressed out about something and for some reason all I want to do is wank. I am basically wanking and then a few hours later wanking again. Yesterday I wanked 5 times. I'm not even watching porn though or looking at anything. But for some reason I just want to keep wanking. It's as if the wanking is taking my mind off what I am stressed about?

    I think you've sussed out where the compulsion is coming from. What can you do to ameliorate or overcome the stress without turning to masturbation? What is the root of the stress?

  3. Little drops of water can eventually overflow a bathtub and flood a house.
    Maybe that's kind of what's been happening with you: Small things, which over time, have added up into something very serious.
    And, if you are like a lot of guys here, masturbation is a quick way to forget about them. But it doesn't solve anything.
    So, you may need to deal with a few things head on.
    You don't need to solve them right away, but you do need to begin facing them.
    Start there, and when you are feeling better, get a plan to quit the masturbation.
    Sorry if I have it wrong or you take offence to this, but I am speaking from the heart.
     
  4. You're using masturbation as a coping mechanism to alleviate the stress that you have.
    If you don't face the source of the stress or at least have a way of dealing with your stress that doesn't involve you masturbation, then you're going to rely on masturbation to give you the "high" that you seek and in turn, making it a coping mechanism for yourself because it's such an easy fix.

    That being said, masturbation does relieve stress, however if you're doing it to take your mind off of what's stressing you out, you're only going to be chasing your own tail.. And for this reason if you feel like you can't control it, then abstain from masturbation for a bit and see how you go and see how you confront/handle your stress.
