I wanted to start a thread of quotes since I've found these to be yet another little tool in my NoFAP toolbelt. They can be from books, film, music or even your own. If you like (totally optional relate how this quote applies to you or to NoFap lifestyle. I'll start us off with a few..

As explained in the film, the quote alludes to the idea that there are 2 modes we humans can live by. One is by nature the other by grace. To live by nature is to be animalistic. To live in fear, to be aggressive, to try to dominate, to only take, to be concerned about self first. The other, grace, is about love and giving. The absolution of ego. I think its safe to say when we FAP for hours on end, the predominant feeling is of selfishness. Of taking. It's strengthening the self. I don't know about anyone else, but at 46 i feel my life has flashed by and in part because i havent noticed the beauty around me or lived in the moment, just in the future or the past. I've lived an animalistic life. That's why I am here. To learn to live with grace, but not in a religious sense. To be open and in each moment is grace (to me).

I like to think of this when i fail at something, that its not failing to not accomplish your goal. its failing when you stop trying.
