    Yes, I agree the internet is messed up.
    Here is what helped me:
    -install a netblocker like K9 or netnanny; it takes a few weeks to get used to and tweak the settings, but once you do you can get it working most of the time, so you can surf what you need to, and block the rest; then use a difficult password and either put it away or give it to someone else
    -exercise, walk, keep a diary - all of these helped me a little
    -limit internet time, if you have to turn off your computer and unplug altogether, so that each time you need to reboot
    -keep reminding yourself over and over that none of these girls cares about you, at all - you have to try to meet girls in real life, it's the only way
