So I have stopped looking at webcams but now feel like shit

    Hi, so I have been off webcams for 5 months.
    Background: Would hang around on cam sites sometimes over an 18 month period. A lot of this time I was just aimlessly chatting to bored models, but I also spent about $1000 on private videos. Exposed myself to about 8 cam models and to one particular one about 5 times.
    Here is the weird bit - I never ejaculated while using these sites. I used them as kind of foreplay and later on had sex with my wife. I think this helped me do it as long as I did, because I did not see it the same as having an affair.

    So I have suddenly (literally over the last week) become aware that my behaviour amounted to cheating. My wife knows that I am guilty because of cam sites, but I have not told her about the money I spent or that models saw me masturbate.

    I am currently getting about 2 hours sleep a night and feeling vaguely suicidal. We have a kid and our second is due in literally a week.

    Millions of people -- myself included -- have stupidly looked at webcams etc. So give yourself a break ........ your wife is pregnant ............ you are human ....... and move on to a happy life.

    One of wives & husbands Top Priorities should be that their mate is FULFILLED.

    I think a wife's responsibility it to take care of her husband's sex needs.
    One of her top priorities should be that you are fulfilled.

    (*These same things apply to husbands being responsible for their wives affection, affection, affection...and sex needs.)


    Tell her when you are horny. (Wives have vaginas, anus, between breasts, oral and hand jobs.) You would want her to tell you about her need for a hug.... couch time.... etc. So tell her you want her & you to have a marriage where each partner LETS THE OTHER PERSON KNOW THEIR NEEDS.


    Tip: King & Queen ... "Golden Sceptor" ... whoever has the scepter calls the shots .... they get their needs met. (Can be a gold pen....etc.)
    Also the "Waiter" and "Waitress" technique. Do both daily........ or one each day. (i.e. take each others order; 'positive & attentive waiter... or waitress'.

    Say you want to try this as an "Experiment for 1 Week" ............... then check if any adjustments are needed.

    3. Google: "The pain of self-discipline [4] is far less than the pain of regret [8]" ..... Find an image you like......... and save it onto your computer or phone. (Ex: Go outside and get some fresh air. Temptations usually last only 10-20 minutes.)

    4. Daily or Weekly Rewards -- treats or dessert (for good behavior); or buy something related to a hobby you really enjoy; listen to your favorite songs, etc.

    5. Some guy on line had this great advice: " Never touch your dick……[or female parts for women]."
    Tip……. when showering use a wash cloth

    6. Humor ....... Google: "Glad you could join me Mr. Bond". Funny, somewhat possessed toddler............... Anyone know the Villain the toddler is supposed to represent?

    BONUS I -- Fasting can help you have more self control; and has many health benefits. You can skip meals; or entire days -- your choice. If you skip breakfast, you can use GREEN TEA (WITH CAFFEINE) as a low cost, mild, healthy stimulant that gives you energy.

    BONUS II -- Go to NoFap.com…………….. Encourage others or give them Advice [gets the focus off of ourselves and on onto others]. Works Very Good!

    BONUS III -- This may be the most important: Are You Willing to Do Whatever It Takes? (Get up off your Heinekin [butt] and go outside; go to a market or gas station at 3 am [anonymous supervision] and buy a snack or soda; go for a walk around the block at 5am. As soon as you make the (AYWTDWIT?) commitment -- there is an extremely High Success Rate.

    If you have only in the last week come around to the idea that this is cheating then I have to say - congratulations, and welcome! You are not alone, and you are on the first step of your journey to being well again. It gets better, and you need to be ready to experience some difficult thoughts and feelings as you are giving up an addiction that has held power over you. So put the past behind you and focus on today and tomorrow.

    Thanks for those who replied. Ok here is my update - had our second kid, a baby boy born safely.
    I have been to the doc who gave me some meds, but still not sleeping well. Probably will take me some time to get this anxiety under control. Plan to go back to the doc next week. Have still not gone near a camsite or any porn actually.

  5. You got to step up to the plate and do your family proud.
    I found that to be the most difficult time when my wife was pregnant and the months following birth as men naturally and understandably get brushed to the side at this stage. I think that is when I used porn most so be careful and this is natural for you to feel like this at this time.
    I now use the focus that I want to make my kids and my family proud of me but at the same time don't beat yourself up if you slip occasionally!
