Recently, my life has been much less of what I wish it to be, especially when it comes to women. I haven't been in solid a relationship with a girl all of my life (20) and I believe this is mainly due to my social anxiety and shitty self-confidence, as I've been told I'm not a bad looking dude. After a long period of frustration, I have grown angry towards myself. I shared my frustrations with one of my closest friends and he led me to this site, as well as the idea of NoFap a few months ago and for a while I was reluctant to try it. However, as of recent I've been trying to quit for a few weeks now on my own, but with little luck, so I've decided it's time to actually take this thing seriously and join the community. I'm just a little skeptical about whether or not it actually works or if it's just placebo, but the success stories I've found on this site are compelling enough for me to try the 90 day challenge, so here goes nothin'

Placebos can work as well... even if you know they're placebos ;)
Welcome to the site! Wish you a lot of success.

    Hi @GoodOl'Abe,

Welcome to the forum. You will find plenty of support on here to help you along the way. May I suggest you start your journal in the 20-24 age group. You can add your journal entrants which can be read and commented on by users around your age.

Good luck on your journey, it may be a bit of a rocky road but just hang on in there. Post on here when you feel vulnerable or at risk of watching porn.

    Warmest

    G
