But if the girl is sending you pics , she obviously like you... So rather than fantasizing about her why dont you stop fapping and meet her in real life????

That is what sexting is. It is written letters on a screen that depicts erotic behavior with intention to cause sexual excitement. So if you masturbate while sexting you have have masturbated to porn. If you sext but do not masturbate then you have just watched porn. So yea, it's a relapse 100%.

All tho there is a blurry line there between what is sexting (as in sex through chat) and what is just flirting through chat. So you can still chat with a girl and be flirty. It's just that you should not cross that line and pretend you two are having virtual sex.

 

To me there is a difference between doing it with someone you want to meet and doing it with someone you can't or won't meet BUT
if you think it might cause you to relapse then no don't do it.
