If you think you can do it all the more power to you. And yea not everyone has done it I see that point. But that doesn't make it abnormal still. Many people's bodies secrete semen in their sleep. It's been that way for thousands of years.

Also I'm curious about something. Do you believe there is a benefit to keeping all your semen inside you? I've seen many people on this website talking about semen retention but honestly I find it hard to believe there is a benefit in that in and of itself. I want NoFap because I'm addicted to porn and masturbation but it seems that some people think keeping the semen inside will always be a benifit. Based on your posts you seem like one of those people so if you can explain it'll be much appreciated. If you aren't then sorry for categorizing you wrong. Thank you.

I dont think i can do it, i already did it.

Again, its literally abnormal to ejaculate in your sleep as an adult. Just because it happens it does not make it normal. Many people have cancer, that doesnt make cancer not a disease or not a malfunction.

Theres an incorrect sampling in nofap which gives away the sensation that wet dreams are normal - thats because people with a sexual problem (masturbation) are the sample and this inflates the perceived incidence of wet dreams.

No, i am not a semen retention guy, i find semen retention silly. Ejaculating with a woman is perfectly normal and healthy, refraining from ejaculation with a woman is ridiculous.

I see your point. If you are thinking about sex (or porn) all the time then it will be more likely to come in your dreams. You keep mentioning that it's abnormal as an adult as if it is normal as a child our adolescence. Why would that be the case?

To be honest I don't really agree with anything you are saying on this topic. But I do see where you are coming from. Even if you did cure yourself of wet dreams (which to be honest I find hard to believe) doesn't mean everyone can nor does it mean there is anything wrong with a person who gets one.

If you claim that wet dreams can be controlled then it would follow that it's a relapse since it is making yourself cum without a partner. That's masturbation. But this is detrimental to the progress a person makes. I've seen so many people on this forum asking if wet dreams count as a relapse. If you count it as one then it'll only take away from real growth in porn recovery addiction.

This is why I take this topic seriously.

Initially yes, if you stay aroused longer during the day you are more likely to get wet dreams. With training you will not get wet dreams even if you get aroused before sleeping. Not saying that its ok to get sexually aroused, but that ultimately its not about arousal but about control, mainly control over ejaculation. That's why teenagers are more likely to have wet dreams, they are getting a new body function they have no knowledge and control on.

You can believe me or not, its your loss not mine. Yes, i stopped having wet dreams, even months in monk mode. I used to have wet dreams frequently, i even had 2 in one night.

Really, it all comes down to be willing to stop masturbation forever and to understand that sexual activity and ejaculation is fundamentally a paired activity and anything else is abnormal. Extremely few people are willing to accept this and they keep failing and keep wondering why they fail.

Wet dreams are not a full on relapse but they are part of the bigger problem. It needs to be adressed gradually instead of being purposely ignored to provide relief from urges.

Resisting the urge to masturbate and ejaculate is the primary issue.

It's not that I don't believe you when you say you haven't had any. I'm saying that I'm sceptical that it's something you can just cure and that one day you might get a wet dream when you aren't expecting it.

What you mentioned about paring ejaculation to sex is something I've thought about from time to time but I haven't given it as much thought as I should. I see you've made it 77 days so far and I relapsed this morning so I think I'll take your advice.

I keep telling myself "I either masturbate or I'll be happy. I can't do both". But then I end up masturbating. Not sure if I want to be sad or if I haven't yet let go of my past with masturbation yet. Is there anything you say or do that keeps you on the straight path of NoFap? Like, how do you remind yourself to not masturbate forever?
