Sex chat addiction - need app blocker.

You're not alone, at least a few people on here have mentioned that. But I think it's harder to deal with blocking because unlike blocking porn, some chat sites are in a gray area and what you may end up dealing with is finding a new chat site and finding those rooms that people use for sex chat. If you only used dating apps or something that would be one thing, but just be aware that there are those loopholes.

Basically, any chat site can be used for sex chat.

So in this situation, I would say do what you need to do but go into it knowing you flat out will not be able to block 100% period. For a while what I did was locked away internet access equipment with a timer at certain hours so at least at night there's just no way to go online. At times I would take an additional whole day off from being online especially following a relapse.
