Hi everyone. As the title says, I have been extremely irritable the past few days. Has anyone else noticed this around the 30 day mark? It has gotten ridiculous and is seriously affecting my attitude at work and in general. I assume this will pass (it has also come with severe horniness) but would just like some insight as to if others have gone through this around this time and how long it lasts. Any thoughts or experiences on this would be greatly appreciated P.S Time is a factor as I may start physically attacking people
I noticed myself having ridiculous urges sometimes. As for irritability, I noticed I was most irritable around 5-10 days in the journey. My mood's kind of been "bleh" for a while, although not to the point of being much less productive than I would hope to be. A week or two ago I got back a test grade that I had done not so well on and I found myself being really pissed off and down about it. I knew that this test wasn't a huge part of my grade, but still it was bothering me more than I would expect it to. I realized an hour or two later that the negative emotion was lingering and I blamed it on the lack of dopamine. When I made that realization, that it was something off in my brain's chemistry, and not actually ME, I was able to feel better and move past it. Try to remind yourself, that this is because of this nofap journey and hopefully that will relax your "want to attack someone". Please be careful.
