Scrooge was the original Fapstronaut.

Just rewatched a Christmas Carol the one with Patrick Stewart as the titular character. In it Mr Scrooge turns from bitter twisted old man, lamenting over his first love Belle and suffering from a big case of oneitus because of what happened all those years ago. He then get visited by three ghosts in the nights, sorts out his demons and has a new lease on life. Makes you think, if the bitter and twisted Ebenezer can do it and he has seemingly spent decades in his dark mood and then in his twilight years becomes a changed man, than so can us all. So that is a merry thought for you all on this Christmas day wherever you are in the world.

I urge you to watch this version of a christmas carol, it may not be as famous as the muppets version but Patrick Stewart is so great in the role of Scrooge.
