    Hi Faptronauts

I don’t usually write on forums at all. But today is an exceptional day. I have passed on day 31. I hope after you finish reading this. You will get pass a month like I just did. I want to share how I did it.

    Background
I’m 31. I am quite successful financially. I did great in school. I have a great job which pays really well. I had been PMO since I was 13. This stopped exactly a month before this post. The longest streak I had no PMO was 14 days. Currently, I’m breaking my record every day. I had my first girlfriend when I was 28. Back then I didn’t know what my problem was. My ex-girlfriend is quite attractive above girls walking on the streets but isn’t smoking hot like in P either. I never finished it with her. No ejaculation nor orgasm. You can probably guess I had PIED. She kept asking me what my problem was. I told her I was tired from daily work but deep inside I didn’t know what to tell her. Eventually, we broke up since I cannot perform well in bed.

How did I find this place?
After I broke up with her, I had decided I had to change my behavior as I was overweight. I exercised a lot of attending boxing classes and weight training. I run everyday controlling my heart rate. But I still PMO daily. So I read somewhere that if I don’t PMO in a day I get more energy. I reduced my PMO to three days a week. That lasted a month. I did some searching and found this website. As I am a man of science not a man of faith, I found a lot of articles towards changing behavior of PMO and your brain on porn.

    My journey
First of all, you can find my journal here. https://forum.nofap.com/index.php?threads/first-time-journal-log.264097/#post-2423984
Urges come and go. The hardest part is during the 2 and 3 weeks. I’m writing this at the end of week 4. There are two things which help me the most when I had urges, video of the reason what makes an addict https://www.ted.com/talks/johann_hari_everything_you_think_you_know_about_addiction_is_wrong. And James Clear website on self-improvement which explains the mechanic of controlling the distraction which keeps emerging all the time. This directly interrupts your progress https://jamesclear.com/how-to-break-a-bad-habit. I don't think I have stressed enough on logical explanation helping me pass through. Once I understood the science and trick of the mind, I no longer have urges. Let me give you an example; last night when I was about to go to bed, I could just open and peek at my porn collection but instead, my brain told me to read something productive. It worked because I had bypassed the laziness button in my brain implying I substituted P to something else when I am free and I have nothing else to do.

    Results after one month
My mind is clearer than before. And my eyes have more tears, lucid than ever. My skin doesn't change in my opinion though I have a coworker noticing my new aura. I have more energy doing exercise in a way I could not even dream of doing. Girl magnet is real but not because of the magic stick of nofap but the life improvements that come after that. Nofap is the starting point of the sophisticated productive machine. The 2-minute rule of manhood. I think I am free now and forever. I will let you know again once I reach 60 days.

    Update
After I relapsed on day 32, on the very next day I had sex with a girl. My ED is gone, completely. But I face a new problem instead. Delay ejaculation (DE) is my new friend and enemy.

I think it is a bit early to say you have win over your ennemy it takes usually multiples streaks to over come the addiction don’t get me wrong I wish you the best but 30 days is nothing even 90 be careful of the euphoric state you get when you first start your journey because it is like that I failed I thought I had win over but I didn’t
