I got it in reverse because when I get bored or can't focus in class, I sometimes think about porn. Well actually it works both ways because sometimes I think about porn before I go to class, then I can't always focus, especially when the teacher is not too engaging.

I don't think in my case porn significantly affected my academics, although for certain classes it probably put a dent on some of my grades because I had wasted so much time on porn. Now I got K9 blocker on my desktop which is good for self-moderators on the web, although I still struggle with internal sexual thoughts. When I will eventually get my laptop fixed, i should also put K9 there too

 

Oh yes! So much, nearly got kicked out in my first year, some twist of fate meant I got through! Now I'm pretty much just copying essays from people in the year above and using my depression as an excuse for not revising for tests. What the hell though eh, this is your life, this is more important than your studies, hey if you can both that's great, but focus on sorting this out. It's such a crucial point of our lives that's going to define the person we are in the future. If it wasn't for the fact that I break up in two weeks I would without a doubt suspend for the year, get this sorted and come back fresh PMO free

Stick with it pal, I just relapsed today and fortunately I've just been reminded that this is the best thing for me right now!

 

I was addicted to PMO throughout my four years of undergrad. I wasted so much time on it. That's definitely a regret of mine. Being on PMO during high school, when I was kind of a lone wolf anyway, or post college, when social situations don't come up nearly as much, isn't that bad compared to it in college. I was always meeting girls and being presented with so many opportunities in college. But I could hardly ever close. I slept with two girls and made out with at least twenty, in four years. College was definitely the best four years of my life, but I took that freedom that made it so great, and spent it fapping. Since finding NoFap, I'm convinced it could have been so much better if I was clean. Its too late for me to change it, but I can tell you how much I regret it and hopefully it'll keep you clean, and seizing on opportunities.

And about grades, which seems to be the focus of this thread, I wasn't the best student in undergrad. I was a star in high school and I'm doing really well in grad school. I think PMO indirectly affected my grades. Like I would put PMO above studying. I probably could have spent at least 3 additional hours a week studying if I wasn't fapping.
