Replacements?

  1. Is it ok to replace pornography with something like gum? Anytime you feel you have an erge you have some gum instead of relapsing, or will this have an adverse effect, like without gum you will relapse. Or maybe even gum will bring thoughts of relapse. I haven't been able to make it a day for over a week and I'm looking for something to take pornography's place.

    True. Just don't give in. Redirect your attention by keeping busy and doing other things. I am in a pickle myself because instead of porn and masturbating I have substituted sex...why is this a bad thing...because that is all I want to do now and that is putting a strain on my new relationship. I am now trying to calm this animalistic natural tendency to save this relationship. Intense.
     
  3. The problem is getting rid of addiction, period. Trading one for another does not get to the root of the problem, and instead cuts off the branches.

    Faster EFT is very good, if you have addictions. I would recommend people in here, to look at the technique
     
  5. A hard man is good to find. Most women complain they don't get fucked enough.... If she can't handle it then you two aren't sexually compatible and you should find someone who lines up with you better.

    You should replace PMO with another addiction but only healthy ones. Get addicted to meditations, yoga, working out, running, a hobby, etc. NOT GUM but something good.
    Replacing a horrible addiction with a horrible addiction will result with two addictions. They are negative things. Replace with something positive that'll help.
    That's like swapping cocaine for heroine because it'll cure your cocaine addiction... ask a drug addict if that worked for them haha

    I am figuring this out and trying different things. I do meditation, not religiously but trying. Exercise when I can and hobbies don't have....I guess I can start with that.
