I have to use this word, hello (good people) i apologize because of my bad English. I created an account a year ago, because of my many relapse and going back to real magic magnet nightmare online p0rn I was even scared to inter this forum. As an iraqi I'm addicted for more than 18 years, im in my 30s .. I have lived in many different countries aka Europan countries because of it now for more than 8 month I live in iraq and this magnet addiction won't leave me. This damn brain of mine won't let me to reboot it . I have to accept the defucality this time for good because I know this thing will kill me .
Please I real advice

Watch youtube videos on this subject. Read a book called your brain on porn. Keep yourself busy. Try new hobbies, exercise, go for walks, eat and cook healthy food. Start a journal and find patterns in your relapses. Write down why you want to get rid of this addiction. Write down what could happen if you do not get rid of it. Read them often. And go easy on yourself if you relapse, learn from ot and keep going!

Thank's for advice, I think writing down the journal realy help's me . Another thing, one time i relapsed after going cold turkey for 20 days because of my nervousness & sleeping problem.

I recommend going for a walk if you can not sleep. Good luck on your journey!

One thing that helped me is I am active on this forum every day. When I am tempted, I come on here and read and post comments to others.

I think it's really important to come back here every time, it doesn't matter if you relapse 50 times, you have to show up here because you know if you don't show up you won't be as dedicated to your recovery, that's guarantied. You think you will come when you're doing better but it doesn't work that way, you have to come here especially when you feel bad. So that's one thing, keep coming here, consider keeping a journal, it's very helpful to understand how you function, what tends to trigger you etc. But also to just vent, write whatever you need to, it's therapeutic and helps to reflect. Also you feel more accountable but you shouldn't put too much pressure on yourself, you want to do this for yourself only, not to have a streak or impress others or force yourself to do it, but because you want to take care of yourself.

It's important also to understand what weakens you, I know for myself that if I don't sleep on time and not enough the next day I will be more moody and impulsive, so I need to avoid poor sleep, and when I do sleep poorly I know I just need a good night's sleep to feel better.

Lastly the most important thing is your "why", when you think about relapsing ask and answer these questions to yourself:

How do I feel right after every PMO session?
How do I feel in general when PMO is a part of my life?
And also think about some rock-bottom times.
