Reaching critical line.

    Hello, people. Looking for some advice or hope that this will pass soon, because circumstances are forcing me to end nofap. Everytime I do nofap I get severe sleep issues. From ussual 8 hours of sleep I start sleeping 4-6 hours, no more. Its ok at first, I can manage. But now its my 6th week(38 days) like this and I barely function anymore. Working heavy job, 6 days per week, so I am exhausted at evening and falling asleep is no problem. Problem is waking up at 2 am and not falling back to sleep. Taking melatonin and magnesium, which always helped me if I had trouble sleeping, but normally even without supplements I would sleep 8 hours no problem. ANY ADVICE? Should I quit job or nofap? :D, joke.
     
  2. Why can't you go back to sleep when you wake up at 2 AM? What's keeping you awake? Anxiety?

    No anxiety, feeling exhausted, but not actually sleepy. But during the day, at work, sleepiness kicks in hard. Especially during break time.
     
  4. My advice would be to avoid the supplements if you can for at least a few days (not medical advice). If and when you wake up at 2 AM and feel like you won't be able to fall back asleep, get out of bed instead of tossing and turning. Walk around a bit, maybe carry out a simple chore like washing any leftover dishes. After 15-30 minutes, try to go back to bed.

    In your position, I'd be doing everything not to go back to PMO (although I understand why you think you might want to do so).
