    Hi Im Henry and today is the day I want to reclaim my self respect and confidence. Porn addiction is no different from drugs and alcohol addiction. Ive being doing this for 2 years regularly. I still dont understand how this addiction came in. Like it came in when I was 12. I started getting excited about this stuff. Now its become such a problem like for me cos it interrupts all everyday
    activities.

    I found this website from ted x and its inspiring how many people have managed to quit. I wish to quit cold turkey. This term is used for smokers but same anology here. I am now a Fapstronaut. Today is 6th March 2015.

    Day 2 and 3 Quit Porn Challenge
    The two days were pretty okay for the moment. For no reason I had a slight relapse on the morning of day 2 which lasted for 4 min. Other than that, I felt more energised. Since before I usually fap 3 times a week, I guessing the relapse will hit after 5 days so Im dreading that day.

    Day 4 Quit Porn Challenge
    Day was pretty normal but this time the relapse lasts shorter but is more intense. Had random boners even thought i had not fapped nor looked at porn at all.

    Day 5
    relapse was sudden, like for like 20 seconds, my brain would feel its on fire. One side of the brain is like yes porn neeed and on the other side it's like "none of dat shit" the conflict is bad. This 20 second
    brain burn is really shit.

    Day 3 Quit Porn Challenge post relapse 1
    I had to reset my pmo counter twice. I fapped twice in the 2 days. Absolutely gutted.
    Now its day 3 post relapse and the symptons are more controllable. Before watching porn all my dreams
    were just a bunch of everything mixed. Nowadays its just sex 90%. I have to emphasise how much easier it
    is to fall asleep. Before quitting, it would be 1 hour, now its 30 min. The normal tome is 10 minutes but
    im happy of the improvement
    The relapse hasn't came in yet.

    Day 4 and 5 Quit Porn Challenge post relapse 1
    day 4
    i was chilling at home studying and working out. This really helps with quitting. Boredom also worsens the
    craving cause when u crave, everything else in life is uninteresting. So definitely always keep yourself
    busy.
    day 5 had 2 random boners in public. Lucky my dick isn't huge. This is definitely relapse but it only lasted 20 seconds. wet dreams dont count and each day im feeling better. Beat the record of 4 days yay.

    massive relapse for five minutes. one hand was like stroking my crotch wanting to do a jerk off. One hand
    on the mouse. I dont know if looking at google images with filter on counts but yeh I was like stroking for like 4 minutes. Then about to click onto porn the relapse ended. Whew, broken record by 2 days but knowing
    the relapse will get worse onwards. good luck to u people out there to quit fapping

    day 2 post relapse 3
    feel gutted. relapse 2 was after 2 days something. Have to move on and get on with life. Thinking about
    sleeping early would help combat the urge. The 6 day record is legit. I have no idea how i did it.
    Changing the goal to beat my record should be more motivation. Smaller goals easier to achieve

    day 6 post relapse 3
    record has been broken and i want to keep it that way. The symptoms for the past 5 days were surprisingly
    calm. My brain's dopamine levels are still attempting to adjust to normal levels. Mornings seem to always
    be the time when the relapse is the worst. Studying is easier as the days go by. Funny thing last time after
    reaching the 6 day mark I fapped and that was also few hours after typing the forum. Well fellow fapstronauts
    keep battling.

    Eight days for my current record and its two days higher than my previous. I realise that the trend for completing
    hard mode is breaking the record by 2 days every time. If I fail ill be pissed but not as much as my 2 relapse when i only
    managed 2 days. I realise that my dreams have been less about sex. I think if you can control what dreams u want to have, then the
    dopamine levels have reached back to normal. Very happy of the improvement.

    day 3 attempt 3
    Hey people fighting pmo today is day 3 after the 6 relapse. I think this title is more appropriate as once the withdrawal hits too hard, I fap like 3 times over the course of 3 days. The urge was not as bad as when I had the 3rd relapse but it was still too much for me to handle. Today I had like 2 boners lasting 3 minutes and luckily I was sitting down so nobody noticed. The record was like 7 days 21 hrs but lets just assume 8 days. Hopefully I can smash the record by at least 2 days just like last time.

    Both days were becoming more manageable. The relapses which I have experienced were mild like a 4/10 but it lasted 5 minutes.
    Being engaged with important activities. Well I am doing an assignment and even though it is the day before, I can f
    eel that i am procrastinating less only by a very small percentage. Despite that the benefits can be felt such as you feel less tired in the
    morning and more pumped to do what you actually need to do such as work and stuff. Well for now, keep fighting fapstronauts

    I dont know how i feel. my new record is 8 days 4 hours and that is 7 hours longer than my previous. Two massive relapses lasting 30 minutes hit me.
    1st one was like before i woke up so i forced myself to start the day quickly to abstain but then 4 hours later, the relapse hit again and it was
    too much for me. I relapse twice during the 2 hours but i hope i wont relapse the 3rd time and then beat my record by a bigger gap this time.

    despite the fact i have fapped three times, i have not watched after the 1st time so it has been 5 days since i have watched porn. Despite not reaching eight
    days, which my 4th attempt reached 6 days 15 hrs, the relapse symptoms have never lasted more than 5 minutes. Its usually around 2 minutes ish
    but im happy of the improvement.

    despite relapsing i have not watched any porn for 11 days and that is 3 days higher than my record. I am still going onto hard mode and continuing
    to strive for a higher record. Controlling the urge has become easier.

    after fapping 2 times i have waited for the record to be broken and it has been my first morning wood. I am so happy of the progress as this
    shows that i am able to reach REM sleep meaning rapid eye movement. Being able to reach REM means that my brain has made a
    significant progress in reaching normal dopamine levels.

    my new record is 9 days straight. i got hooked and fapped 3 times afterwards but i hope i can actually quit fapping for real now. Slow but steady as they say.
    I feel really drained but still i have to push on.

    i have smashed my record by 3 days currently and i am going strong atm. I still feel the urges but they are very minor. The flatline stage is when i
    feel no arousal at all and it then becomes super easy to just abstain from porn. For the fapstronauts struggling to get past 1 week,
    -never edge before jacking off because it adds excess dopamine to your brain so pretty much just finish off with minimal time.
    -sleep early because that is a free 8 hours for not watching porn. Staying up late is you pretty much giving you the extra chance to jerk off again.
    - get occupied with something productive (study for example). This keeps you from craving porn.

    once you can reach 9 days, it should be much easier to abstain.

    my record is 14 days atm and i am very proud of the progess. However my biggest obstacle to face is the upcoming social event with
    workmates where i might end up in a brothel. I am going to decline not only it will ruin my progress, my most recent blood test shows no immunity to hepatitis b so i am so not risking my life for 10 minutes of feeling good.

    I have fapped countless times before writing this. I have relapsed after 10 days but i am finally able to maybe reach over 14 days. I realise who the pmo
    cycle works. After I reached 14 days ish, i fapped until I could only pass 2 days without fapping. I basically had to struggle to progressively increase
    the number of days abstaining. Currently it is 10atm. Luckily i did not go to brothel and I have tempoary immunity to hepatitis b for like another 10 yrs.
    Maybe someday I can finally quit for good and over this whole time, I feel like my brain is actually trying to recover at a faster rate. This could be the reason
    why the chaser effect is harder to get past.
