This forum is for recovery: it is a place to come together with other people from all around the world and of many different races, gender identities, sexual orientations, ages, and political beliefs to encourage each other and support each other in recovery. Politics is often divisive, it often causes people to prejudge other people without really giving them a chance to express themselves or without really trying to get to know them. It can, and often does, fuel flame wars here on the forums. In short, political discussion is not conducive to the supportive atmosphere we desire to nurture here at NoFap.
