Porn with sleep

    I usually have a hard time going to sleep in my bed which leaves me tossing & turning and takes me at least 30-40 minutes for me to sleep. To reduce the time, I sometimes watch porn and masturbate to make me sleep. I would like some advice from other users on how to sleep better and personal insights on other people solved this problem.

    That's probably the worst possible way you could end your day. It's not that i haven't been guilty of it. Just that feeling your mind with those images as you're heading to sleep is only gonna cause more insomnia and prolong your addiction.

    One rule you need to follow for quality sleep, and the easiest one, is no screen for at least 1-2 hours before bed. Any kind of media is going to affect the quality and quantity of your sleep in that time frame. After that you could look into the time you drink coffee, the time tou have dinner or excersise etc. but screen is the main thing

    Leave your electronic devices in another room so they are not readily available to you.

    If I have trouble sleeping, I will lay in bed and just start counting. Yes it's like counting sheep. One (deep breath) two (deep breath). I think just letting my mind go to something completely useless helps me to relax and fall asleep. I've been doing this for decades and have not gotten past 25 yet.

    What a nightmare. I am sorry that you have to do this to yourself. What a horrible way to live. I used to do the same thing for many years where I would fall asleep to video game streamers or porn. Now I am 40 years old and a broken single man with a messed up mind and a spotty work history.

    What works for me today is having a job where I have to get up early. I wake up early every morning so that I am tired at night.

    God can help you heal. I have been free from PMO for 160 days in a row.

    Go to youtube and look up sleep meditation, sounds of rain or humpback whales singing or something, porn is not and never will be an answer to insomnia, the orgasm is said to be a sleep aid, no wonder as it's a potent depressant. You could also read books, do calming exercises, etc. instead of looking to highly stimulating content to have the anticlimax knock you out.

    Taking magnesium glycinate supplements seems to help with sleep problems.

    Go walk 10000 steps. Drink 2x Camille tea, put your feet in hot water. And come back of you tried this.
