    Hi,
    I am new here! As many of you, started watching it early, didn't realize the harm initially, until prob 1-2 years ago. Shit got really crazy. Thought could deal with addiction on my own, however didn't work. Managed to stay away for the past several months, but then got back to it. So sick of it, that decided to join this community, do a lot of research on the issue, plan it thoroughly and quit it definitely. Also use this platform to track my progress.

    @brazil54 welcome to nofap. Community aspect of this forum definitely helped me with out nofap I also gave up on getting rid of porn. To get maximum benefit start a journal and read others' journals and you will have a virtual community and will establish accountability. This will lead to progress.

    So first day went well. Generally was pretty busy, had a few urges, but thinking about why i decided to quit it was enough to keep me off of it.
    The main strategy is thinking about why i decided to quit it and all the pain it had caused me. Also writing here everyday to keep myself accountable.
    Signed up on NoFap made me feel like I am going to a doctor and these is a real disease that has to be treated. So made me take my addiction more seriously.
