Poll: Most Difficult Season for NoFap

Summer, because there is more flesh on display.

 

Winter for me, particularly when it's icy outside. My triggers in the past have been a worry I would break a bone slipping on ice ground so I would masterbate my fears away.

 

Summer probably for me too..

Summer probably but winter can be a lonely time. Although I work and study from home so I don't see many people.

 

I would claim Summer, for visual triggers, but my journal shows I have a harder time during late Autumn through Spring. It might have something to do with more inconsistent exercise, but truthfully I don’t know why. Facts is facts, though.

 

Autumn. Season of dying. We reach out for life to resist.

 

There really isn't a season where I struggle the most, but if I had to choose it would be Spring.
The obvious reason is that I live in the desert, so when it gets to summertime there isn't a lot of people around. If I do I don't generally see women in...uh...erotic apparel
However I think that with Spring, that is when I have seen that more often. Because it is generally nicer weather and see many women wearing stuff that is triggering.

 

I put summer simply because there are a lot of triggering things to see in public, however, I would say winter is also difficult because I spend a lot of time inside and bored.

 

Not sure what to vote for but it's a good question.

I get why people say summer(because of triggers) but also for me it makes me feel worse knowing that everyone else is enjoying themselves while I'm stuck in this perpetual flatline bullshit, at least during the winter it doesn't feel like I'm missing out so much. That said, winter can be hard too when days are dark and miserable. Spring has historically been the best time in terms of long streaks for me, which is perhaps fuelled by having this vision of feeling better by the summer.

 

I voted winter because for me relapsing correlates to depression and I suffer from seasonal depression

 

This is one of the more interesting threads that I have seen for a while. Interesting answers so far.

 

Winters and summers tax my thermoregulation so I get less maneuvering space for coomery.

Autumn is darker and colder than spring. The autumn sky is cloudy and gloomy, leaves change colour and fall - this is the season of melancholia not horniness.

Spring is the worst, girls start showing more skin, the sun shines a little more each day, even the fucking birds are horny and chirp all the time.

 

I'm happy to say that it's been a long time since I have even felt that kind of temptation, so I'm not really sure if I can remember what my answer would be.

I would guess probably winter, for me, though. I really dislike being cold, so the cold weather makes me not want to get up and do things, because I'm warm under my blankets and without them I'm pretty cold in my house.
